What Most People Are Unwilling To Do That Causes Them To Regret Their Lives
Four Curses People Put Upon Their Own Lives

Written by a human, for humans, always.
Something that I have noticed about most people...
Is that many people are willing to do many things to have success in their lives...
But...
Most of those people will end up on their deathbeds regretting their lives.
One thing that I have noticed...
Is that often it is not what people are willing to do that creates this result...
Rather...
It is what they are unwilling to do.
This unwillingness becomes like a curse on their lives...
Which ends in terrible results.
So...
What is it that most people are unwilling to do?
And what are the curses around these?
The first is that they are unwilling to gain wisdom...
And it is connected to the Curse of Knowledge.
Many people are more than happy to gain knowledge...
They will read books...
Take courses...
Get degrees...
Listen to podcasts...
Watch videos...
Go to seminars...
And more.
But...
They never ask whether what they learn is valuable...
They do not question what is helpful and what is harmful...
Whether things are based on truth and reality or if they are based on propaganda or marketing.
Knowledge is easy to obtain...
But wisdom requires discernment...
Requiring you to question everything you think you know...
Test knowledge in reality and pay attention to how things go wrong...
To look deeply into things instead of getting surface-level information.
Few people are willing to become wise...
And so they become Cursed with Knowledge...
Knowledge that does not serve them and makes the world worse...
Often on the pretense that what they are doing will help the world.
What else are most people unwilling to do?
The second is that they are unwilling to change what is harming them...
And it is connected with the Curse of Pride.
Most people believe that they know what is best for themselves...
And are unwilling to accept the reality...
That most of what they do...
Is actually harming them.
Worse...
Many have the deep belief that these things are unchangeable...
And benefit themselves.
But the reality...
Is that not only can those things be changed...
But they are so prideful about those things...
They fail to see how they could be harmed by them...
Making them unwilling to change...
Creating a vicious cycle where they can never identify what is creating the circumstances in their lives...
Because they are too prideful to accept what might need to change to escape their fate.
The third is that they are unwilling to accept criticism and opposing views...
And it is closely related to the Curse of Sycophancy.
When you are unwilling to accept criticism and opposing views...
You fail to see where logic may fail...
Or see what pieces are missing from the larger puzzle...
Or figure out the flaws that are holding you back.
But it becomes worse...
Because when you are unwilling to accept criticism...
You become more vulnerable to people who would use and abuse that...
People who are sycophants.
They will tell you everything you want to hear...
But...
There is a cost.
They will never tell you what you need to hear...
And...
They only tell you what you want to hear...
For their own benefit.
Sycophancy inherently creates a taking relationship.
They give you what you want with the expectation of taking what they want...
And if you do not give them what they want...
Or are no longer able to give them what they want...
They will turn on you.
So...
At the end of that relationship...
You really have received nothing that is beneficial.
That is the inevitable result of surrounding yourself with sycophants...
And being unwilling to accept criticism and opposing views.
The fourth is that they are unwilling to take their health into their own hands...
And it is closely related to the Curse of Pleasure.
Many of the things that feel good to us...
Provide little to nothing in the long term...
And...
Often also cause us to lose our health...
Physically...
Emotionally...
Mentally...
Spiritually.
What most people do not realize...
Is that the things that are the most beneficial for our health...
Often do not feel good quickly.
Sometimes they even feel terrible initially.
But...
The cost of not moving through that initial struggle...
Is that you become trapped in things that bring unfulfilling pleasure...
But are unsustainable...
Requiring you to constantly chase those things...
While losing everything that can substantially provide for your health.
What makes this one more difficult...
Is that there are those willing to take advantage of the fact that most people will not take their health into their own hands...
Making that which is unhealthy more pleasurable immediately...
And more addictive...
In turn...
Causing people to become slaves to the Curse of Pleasure.
These four curses are vastly more common than people like to admit...
Often in combination with each other...
And...
All self-inflicted...
Because of what people are unwilling to do in their lives...
But in the end...
They will simply reap a life of regret...
Slowly...
Painfully.
However...
This can be avoided...
By knowing the curse...
You also know what you can do to change it...
Allowing yourself to become free...
If...
You are simply willing to make the necessary changes in your life.
