A great number of elements are responsible for determining how long you will live. Certain factors, such as heredity, diseases, and injuries, are beyond our ability to control. signs of illnesses and ailments, real life experiences and the current public health challenges.

However, some habits are lifestyle choices, such as the foods we eat and the amount of time we spend exercising. Both our general health and the health of our hearts are significantly impacted by these factors.

Due to the fact that cardiovascular disease is one of the major causes of mortality on a worldwide scale, this is something that a great number of health professionals and organisations are very concerned about. Additionally, it is responsible for one quarter of all deaths that occur in the United Kingdom.

First and foremost, you should make every effort to achieve a body weight that is as near to your optimum weight as is humanly feasible.

Obesity is a significant health problem that raises the risk of a wide variety of other health issues.

Diabetes type 2, coronary heart disease, some forms of cancer, such as breast cancer and bowel cancer, and stroke are some of the conditions that fall under this category.

"Living with overweight and obesity can also have an impact on your quality of life, as well as contribute to mental health issues like depression, and can also have an effect on your self-esteem."

Should you be worried about your weight, you should consult with your primary care physician.

Adhere to a diet that is Mediterranean.

It has been widely acknowledged for a long time that the Mediterranean diet is the epitome of a healthy diet.

The consumption of a large quantity of vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, and healthy fats like olive oil is required to achieve this goal.

In a statement released by the British Heart Foundation, the organisation said that "research into this style of eating has shown a reduced risk of developing problems such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and raised cholesterol, which are all risk factors for heart disease."

"In addition, researchers have discovered that individuals who adhere to a Mediterranean diet in a consistent manner have a greater likelihood of living a longer life and are less likely to struggle with obesity.

Engage in exercises on a consistent basis.

Find an activity that you like doing in order to guarantee that you exercise on a regular basis.

Choose an activity of some kind that you like doing and that you can see yourself enjoying for the rest of your life, and make it a goal to engage in that activity as often as is humanly feasible.

It has been shown via scientific research that these three things may help you live a longer, happier, and healthier life.

Engaging in regular physical activity will not only improve the efficiency of your heart and blood circulation system, but it will also bring your cholesterol level down and help you maintain a healthy blood pressure level.

Aerobic exercise, which includes activities such as walking, swimming, and dancing, has the effect of making your heart work harder and maintaining its health.
