Feeling The Weight Of Life

Take It One Day At A Time

By H.E. Dr. Cody Dakota Wooten, COIE, DFM, DHMPublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 3 min read

There are days you wake up, and it already feels wrong.

Take it One Day at a time.

You have a Pain.

The Sun Doesn't Seem as Bright.

Life Feels Different, and Not in a Good Way.

Take it One Day at a time.

You've got a Lot to do.

It Feels like There's No Time.

There are 24 Hours for All, yet it "Feels" Not Enough.

Take it One Day at a time.

There's so Much to Do.

It is Important, Yes, and also Meaningful.

Yet, in the Moment, it does Not Fill your Soul.

Take it One Day at a time.

You want to Shine Bright.

You want So Badly to make an Impact.

But Right Now, Nothing Feels like it could Ever Do So.

Take it One Day at a time.

You Change Pace.

Take some Time for Yourself, maybe Entertainment.

It is Fun, Sure, yet here you sit Feeling No Change Occur.

Take it One Day at a time.

There is No Motivation.

But there is Still A Lot of Work To Do.

You Know You may be Unable to Go All Out.

Take it One Day at a time.

You sit down.

Go forth and Do What You're Able.

It might Feel Small, Quaint, but You Move Forward.

Take it One Day at a time.

Who are You?

Why Should You be So Bold?

Doubt Fills Your Mind, Your Soul, Your Heart.

Take it One Day at a time.

Others Care Not.

If You Falter Today, So What?

They are So Focused on Their Problems to Notice.

Take it One Day at a time.

It is True.

Yet the Truth is often Larger.

In Life, there are Larger and Smaller Truths.

Take it One Day at a time.

They May Not Care.

They May be Focused on their Challenges.

Yet, that is Why You Move Forward Anyways, Take a Step.

Take it One Day at a time.

Your Mind may jump.

One Week, One Month, One Year, More.

But it is too Much, too Great to Focus on Right Now.

Take it One Day at a time.

The Weight is Heavy.

The Billions who Struggle.

Each Day another Boulder Added to the Pain.

Take it One Day at a time.

It's too Much.

You'll Break Yourself Trying.

If you go All In, All People, All Weight, You'll be Crushed.

Take it One Day at a time.

This is Not the Task.

If you Break Now, It will be too Soon.

You will Not Change the World in a Single Day.

Take it One Day at a time.

Change is Exponential.

A Singular Moment Alone is Not Enough.

But Singular Moments Combined, One Hundred, Thousand, More.

Take it One Day at a time.

Strength is Exponential.

Each of these Moments Combine.

One Plus One is Three, and Three plus Three is More.

Take it One Day at a time.

Today may Feel Small.

Today may Feel like it is Little.

But though you Focus on Today, that is Not the Power.

Take it One Day at a time.

Power comes Later.

As this One Day is added to Others.

Focus on what You are Able, Here and Today.

Take it One Day at a time.

Today feels Underwhelming.

Tomorrow may end up Feeling the Same.

Yet Each of these Becomes Greater Together.

Take it One Day at a time.

Who Will Hear?

You Do Not Know Yet.

Underwhelming for You may be Everything for Another.

Take it One Day at a time.

Little People we may be.

Little Moments may be All We Have.

But Combined we become Unstoppable Forces.

Take it One Day at a time.

We are More.

When we Each Add One Day.

Mountains Move, and Darkness is Cast Out.

Take it One Day at a time.

Today is Small.

Tomorrow may be Too.

But that is All That is Required of You.

Take it One Day at a time.
