They Are Still Putting Fluoride In Our Water Supply

Despite research showing health concerns

By Rootbound HomesteadPublished 25 days ago 3 min read

Fluoride is still present in our water. As of 2020, 72.7% of people in the United States with Community Water Systems (CWS) are drinking fluoridated water that has "appropriate levels" of fluoride. This percentage has remained relatively consistent since 2008.

Taken right from New York State Department Of Health: The New York State Department of Health concurs with the current scientific evidence that fluoride added to water is safe and effective in controlling tooth decay. In New York State, approximately 12 million people drink water containing one milligram of fluoride per liter. The department considers this level to be the appropriate amount to maximize tooth decay prevention and minimize the risk of enamel fluorosis.

So back in the 1940's, fluoride was introduced to the public water supply. Fluoride is the only chemical added to water—not to treat the water, but to treat you. "It's good for your teeth." Three out of four Americans are drinking water with fluoride in it.

Back in 2006, a report was done on quarter horses living in Colorado on a farm in Pagosa Springs who were drinking artificially fluoridated water back in 1985, and did so for the duration of their lives. (Research report: Fluoride 39(1)3–10, January–March 2006)

Right on the package.

These horses experienced the typical signs of chronic fluoride intoxication, such as abnormalities of the hoof, dental fluorosis, hyperostosis/enostosis, crooked legs, and bone resorption.

Postmortem concentrations of fluoride in their bones 587 ppm in a 20-year-old gelding who had been drinking floridated water for the previous ten years; 936 ppm in a 17-year-old gelding who had been drinking floridated water for the previous eleven years; and 757 ppm in a 21-year-old mare who had been drinking floridated water for the entirety of her life. A 19-year-old mare had "very low" blood serum thyroxin, and after five years, she couldn't reproduce. Below you'll see the discoloration and the decay of horse teeth from horses drinking fluoridated water on that farm.

On the international front, most of the west European countries have rejected water fluoridation, including Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, France, Germany, Iceland, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Norway, and Switzerland.

Your kidneys only expel around 50% of ingested fluoride. The rest settles in your bones, tissues, and pineal gland. Fluoride accumulation in the pineal gland can lead to reduced melatonin production, an earlier onset of puberty, and circadian rhythm changes like sleeping too much or too little, being restless at night, or falling asleep at unusual times, as well as:

  • Vision changes: Including double vision
  • Drowsiness: Feeling irritable or anxious
  • Eye movement problems: Including difficulty walking and balance issues
  • Seizures: Memory issues
  • Headaches: Including upset stomach and nausea
