Anxiety Over the Holidays
This holiday season, along with all the others, is supposed to be a time of joy and celebration, but for many people, it can be a source of major stress and high anxiety. Whether it's the pressure to buy the perfect gift, host the perfect party, or just meet the expectations of every single person they know, holidays can be overwhelming.

Focus
With so many companies now offering remote working it is becoming increasingly harder to remain focused. Of course, we are still getting the job done, but are we really being as efficient as we could be? Think of it this way; are we getting as much work done remotely as we would if we were not. There are distractions everywhere, from the weather, kids, pets, phone calls, or even errands for the house and not for the job. Sure, we might be completing the tasks our employers are mandating, but could we be more efficient about it? Sure, we can!

Writing Restaurant Reviews
Personally, I am what is considered a "Foodie" because not only do I love food but I also love sharing my thoughts about food with others. Which is odd because I no longer eat meat. Strictly a vegan or vegetarian menu for multiple years now. Dropping meat from my menu has helped me lose weight, lower vital bodily statistics, and just help me get around a little bit better.

Alex and Maggie
Alex sits on the bench outside of the shark tank window with her head in her hands. She is overly familiar with this spot. This has become her place to come after school, to read, or to study. She would much rather be at the aquarium than in her own home nowadays. It is hard to determine who subjects more abuse her way; her mom or her stepdad. Either way, she doesn't want to hear it today. She tries not to believe it. But it is hard not to believe it when that is all she hears and sees from the moment she hits the front door. So, in order to avoid negativity at all costs, she has found her happy place. Right on the bench outside of the shark tank window.

Scour Your Mind
How many times do you have to tell people to pick something up, throw something away, or just clean up?! If you are a mother, then it seems like you do this every moment of every day. If you are a father, same thing. However, what happens if you are just a married woman who spends the majority of her days working? What then? What happens when your brain goes so fast that you just don't know how to physically catch up?

Anxiety Sucks
If you talk to any expert in the world they will tell you there are four levels of anxiety: mild, moderate, severe, and panic. My completely unprofessional opinion is that unless they are suffering from anxiety themselves they don't know what they're talking about or what they are categorizing for that matter! Anxiety sucks, on every level.

Being Happy Should NOT Be SO Difficult…
As children we are generally taught that negative occurrences feed into negative emotions. However, is that correct? Is that how we should be feeling about life in general? I am not convinced of that any longer. Over the past year or so I have embraced a mentality of positivity. Trying to find the positive in even the worst situations is difficult, but not impossible.

One Person…
I am not perfect, no one is. How often do you hear that; or rather, how often do you say that to someone else? I do not consider myself even close to being perfect, I am very much a work in progress. However, what I have noticed from others is that they expect people to be kind, even when they are not being so kind themselves. How does that even out in the wash? It just doesn’t.

5 Ways to Kill Boredom in the Office
Boredom in the office is inevitable at some point in time during the workday. This is especially true when you have a workload that is very dependent on others. Working in the customer service field is no different, that is for certain. However, this is solely the responsibility of yourself to keep a cool head and not appear as you are bored for fear of being given a new task.

Beatty Suzanna
It was January 19th, 2014, when you came into my life. You were so very tiny, and no one really knew whether you were going to survive. When my friend found you and your other litter mates in a bowl under a truck in the middle of winter, hopes were not high. However, prayers sure were! She knew that the owner of that truck and bowl did not care for you; so, she rescued you all and brought you to our office.
