A Woman is a Woman…
Being a woman is not all about dresses, dolls, and hair bows. There are so many different classifications of women in this day and age; it is no longer about femininity whatsoever. Hell, it is no longer about gender identification either. Just because a woman was ‘assigned female’ at birth does not mean that is the body she will be growing into. It is a tangled web we all weave.

Stop the Office Gossip
I am far from the ‘one that everyone likes’; however, I am nowhere near the bottom of the barrel either. At least that is what I thought, until this week. I learned the hard way that office gossip hurts. It hurts bad. But what hurts even more is that I truly thought the people causing the pain were friends of mine. I know, I know; this is childish. But is it really? In fact, it is much more probable to happen than I even imagined.

Positive Over Negative
Let’s face it; negative and positive energy will forever exist in this world. However, we do not need to embrace both all the time. In fact, it has been proven that those who embrace positive energy over the negative do not suffer from nearly as many medical pitfalls. Keeping the negative thoughts and actions around contribute to medical deficiencies; mentally and physically.

Emotional VS. Physical Anxiety
When you are living with anxiety it is practically impossible to explain it to someone who is not familiar. Quite often those that do not have issues think that the anxiety sufferer is ridiculous or just wants attention for whatever reason. This is very unfortunate because in most cases it is completely untrue. For a person to actually reach out for help, and knowingly have issues with anxiety, is a huge step for them. To only be pushed to the side, is similar to a slap in the face. And generally, if this happens the one reaching out, will never do it again. Which can lead to unforgiving results.

Anxiety Over the Holidays
This holiday season, along with all the others, is supposed to be a time of joy and celebration, but for many people, it can be a source of major stress and high anxiety. Whether it's the pressure to buy the perfect gift, host the perfect party, or just meet the expectations of every single person they know, holidays can be overwhelming.

Focus
With so many companies now offering remote working it is becoming increasingly harder to remain focused. Of course, we are still getting the job done, but are we really being as efficient as we could be? Think of it this way; are we getting as much work done remotely as we would if we were not. There are distractions everywhere, from the weather, kids, pets, phone calls, or even errands for the house and not for the job. Sure, we might be completing the tasks our employers are mandating, but could we be more efficient about it? Sure, we can!

Writing Restaurant Reviews
Personally, I am what is considered a "Foodie" because not only do I love food but I also love sharing my thoughts about food with others. Which is odd because I no longer eat meat. Strictly a vegan or vegetarian menu for multiple years now. Dropping meat from my menu has helped me lose weight, lower vital bodily statistics, and just help me get around a little bit better.

Alex and Maggie
Alex sits on the bench outside of the shark tank window with her head in her hands. She is overly familiar with this spot. This has become her place to come after school, to read, or to study. She would much rather be at the aquarium than in her own home nowadays. It is hard to determine who subjects more abuse her way; her mom or her stepdad. Either way, she doesn't want to hear it today. She tries not to believe it. But it is hard not to believe it when that is all she hears and sees from the moment she hits the front door. So, in order to avoid negativity at all costs, she has found her happy place. Right on the bench outside of the shark tank window.
