Delivering Bad News…
Not sure how I got the title of the ‘Official Bad News Deliverer’ in my friends’ group; but I digress… it is inevitable when there is bad news to be delivered, I am the one who is called upon to do it. I do not think it is because I am patient, because I am not. It is surely not because I do not cry when others cry, because my eyes have a mind of their own when it comes to tears. And it is certainly not because I can distance myself from the news itself, nope…I internalize everything! Maybe it is in the delivery. Maybe that is it. I am nowhere near perfect, but I can deliver news well.

My New Neighbors;
So, as does most of society, we live in an apartment complex. And as with any apartment complex living, the neighbors change on a regular basis. Especially in this day and age where prices are going up so high not all families can continue to stay put. Well, the new neighbors that are moving across the hall from us are a very elderly couple. They have been living in this complex for over 15 years, from what I understand.

Bad Mood Vs Good Mood…
There are a multitude of things in life that we, as society, just cannot ignore. I have heard it referenced to as: death, taxes, and humanity. These are three basics that no human can avoid. However, we need to add a fourth to this list, moods. We cannot ignore our good moods versus our bad moods. Let’s face it; we all have swing from both sides of the mood pendulum from time to time.

National PTSD Awareness Month
Being a writer; I have a driven curiosity to research. When I started researching the month of June I quickly found that it is dedicated to National PTSD Awareness Month. Let me begin by saying I had no idea that there was an entire month dedicated to this illness. So the research alone was fascinating for me. There is an actual day dedicated to individuals that suffer from posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD);, and that is June 27.

A Good Person…
It seems as though society is forever trying to improve themselves or prove themselves. Whichever the case may be, how do you do it? The majority of the people that exist in this world think they are good people but are they really? Are there specific traits that are related to being a good person within this world? As with everything else; of course, there is. Here are a few traits that seem to be the most popular among being a truly good person.

Lack of Motivation
People claim to have motivation all the time, but do they really. Do you? Do I? Not nearly as much as I should! By the time I do things it is because I have to, not because I want to. There is a huge difference between the two. When you are in the midst of losing your motivation there are certain things that you can do to regain it. Some people say it is as easy as changing your routine, getting up and cleaning your house, or even just going to a park to relax and watch people. All of those may very well be options that work, for other people. But in all honesty, those options have not worked for me.

Writing a Solid Foodie ReviewTop Story - June 2022
I am a Foodie at heart, so reviewing eateries is an extreme passion of mine. I love doing an honest and complete review to accomplish one of two things; leading customers to great places or steer them from the ones that may be potential disasters. However, there is a fine line between being informative and being overly informational. The last thing you want to do in any type of review is seem bossy or directive in a negative manner.

Compulsive Apologizing
How many times do you utter “I’m Sorry” in a typical day? If you track it, then I am sure you would be astonished at the end results. Especially in the workplace! Far to often people think that they need to apologize to smooth something over at work to keep in the ‘good graces’ or to simply stay on the payroll. Some people may very well feel less professional if they need to apologize often; but whose fault is that? There is such a thing as compulsive apologizing.

Inspiration
Everyone at one time or another is at a loss for inspiration. It is nothing personal, it happens to everyone. There are several ways to re-center your level of inspiration and allow it to grow again. Personally, inspiration is found for me in my environment. People watching is a trait that has completely made me a huge fan! And from that, the inspiration flows. For others that need a little bit more help, here are a few ideas that may very well help!

Think of Yourself
I am a self-proclaimed ‘work-oholic’ and am not at all afraid to admit it. My job is not strenuous, but mentally; it is challenging. There are three completely different clients that depend on me being always on top of my game. If I am not; their business will suffer. That is not something I want to suffer because I am distracted. So, I make certain I am at my desk Monday through Friday from morning to early evening.

Happy Mother’s Day
There are flashes of memories here and there of you. Nothing substantial though. As an adult I wonder what I did. What did I do that was so terrible as a kid that made you walk away from me, without even so much as a second thought? Was my behavior bad? Was I rude? Did I not follow your instructions? I realize you will never surface again to give me answers. So, I am forever left with memories, and doubts.

Good Communication
You may walk away from a conversation thinking that was the best conversation you have ever had and attribute it to you and your great communication style. But is it really because of you or is it because of someone that was in the conversation with you? Were you just hyped up and made to feel good because the other person made you feel that way? It can be a deflated feeling to realize you were not the focal point, but the others were. Don’t let that happen though, continue to be proud of yourself. Mainly because it takes more than one to carry on a successful and positive conversation.
