How We Paid Off $8,500 In Debt Last Month
When I first met my husband his credit was very low. He was about to be evicted from his apartment and wasn't making a lot from his job. It was a situation all parents would dread for their daughter. A week into dating he was invited to live with me and my roommates. After a few months, our relationship had progressed and we moved into our own place.
Shannon "Kate" DelamarePublished 3 years ago in LifehackHow to Make Money as a Photographer
The question of how to make money as a photographer is something that I'm asked frequently, and I understand why. Photography can seem like an oversaturated market, especially in more recent times, and understanding how you can earn a living off of something you love always seems to be a question people dream for the answer of but can never find.

"There were plenty of days I (literally) wished I could get a woman to glance at me SUGGESTIVELY. I was shy and at times suffered from low self-esteem. I needed something, but I had no idea what would be my saving grace. I found myself being jealous of the women who were constantly being looked at and desired. What was she doing that I could do? How can I turn the tides around? I wanted to be noticed and approached. Who wouldn't benefit from a day of ego-boosting compliments and lady-gazes? Awe! I'm going to get my body tight and wear spandex. Who says I can't? Sure- I might be the only guy on Las Vegas Blvd wearing yoga pants, but who cares? This is my mid-sex crisis, but it's not even about sex. When I wear tight spandex (stepping out of my house with my 'surfer`s bulge'), some women snicker at my audacity. I consider those compliments. Other women look twice and forget to make contact with my eyes. Is this how women feel? I don't mind it at all. One thing is for sure. After a day wearing a tight speedo around town, I head for home knowing I gave my confidence something to work with. Thank you 'surfer`s bulge'. Thank you SPEEDO. Thank you yoga pants." — R. L. “I want to be a white woman when I grow up ‘cause they’ve got long straight hair…,” from the lips of a 5-year-old African American female.
Robin Jessie-GreenPublished 3 years ago in BlushIs Phone Crypto the Future?
Since the creation of Bitcoin 12 years ago, the world has revolutionized the way that we view cryptocurrencies. Initially starting out as a worthless currency, the current value of a single bitcoin hovers around fifty thousand dollars. Investors continue to try to stake their claims in bitcoin in hopes that it will continue to soar higher and higher. Following along with bitcoin, several other cryptocurrencies have risen to fame, notably Ethereum, Dogecoin, and Tether. Every week, new cryptocurrencies are formed, as techies race to create the next big currency. It’s no wonder after all, Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin is rumored to have over $34B USD worth of bitcoin stashed away.

...Family and I had gathered for my birthday last September. Cards were exchanged (many with the same tired fat jokes normally found in birthday cards; but the thought was there).

“Dance with me,” he yelled. Move your hips to the beat of the music. Who cares who is looking, as long as your beads hypnotise me with their jingles.

She placed the pint on the coaster in front of him. "Another hot date, huh?" she asked with a grin as he finished scribbling a note in his little black book. He smiled and nodded his head.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have admired dramas, entangled love stories, and embellished dresses. And yes, I'm a romantic all the way. If like me, you can't get enough of Pride and Prejudice, you adore British accents, daring plot twists, and history, you have come to the right place.

This is a story about you. It doesn't end poorly, and this comforts you. You hope that you make it – wherever “it” is for you – and that immediately makes it true.
Nicolette KierPublished 3 years ago in MotivationFour Tips for Creating That Perfect Picture
Have you ever taken the perfect picture, sat back, and just thought, “This is it. This is the picture,” before you ever put it through any editing applications? Before you’ve even touched the white balances, the contrast, the sharpness, it’s just beautiful? Yeah, me neither.

Want to Make Objects Float in Your Photos? Here's What You Need to Do!
Many photographers shy away from taking photos of floating objects because they think it's too challenging--especially if they don't consider themselves Photoshop wizards. But the truth is that the concept behind "levitation" photography is quite simple and requires minimal editing skills.
Chad VerzosaPublished 3 years ago in Photography Where Does Vanilla Come From?
Poor dull Vanilla gets an awful rap. Its name has been railroaded into meaning boring or conventional or unexciting. Think vanilla. Think blah. Think bland. Think basic. That provenance was derived from a perverse misstep of vanilla ice-cream being labelled as plain ice-cream. But plain means popular — for a third of us — vanilla is our favourite ice-cream flavour with sexy, cool, hot-shot chocolate languishing a distant second.

All I ever wanted was designer clothes. Every morning I write in my little black notebook of all the designer items I need from Chanel, Gucci, Dior and Givenchy so I can keep up with all the celebrity trends. Steven, once told me to write down everything you want onto piece of paper then one day it will come true. So that's what I've been doing.

I Am a Big Fat Loser Part One Hello. My name is Treva and I’m a big fat loser. I know what you’re thinking. “Why is she announcing to the world that she’s a loser? Wouldn’t she rather hide it?”
Treva RawlinsPublished 3 years ago in HumansSooo...are you like, a Vocal junkie?
Confession time: I have not always been an active Vocal member. I joined in April 2019 and posted one poem, Find Them. I didn’t post anything again until February 2020. The daunting number of balls I juggled during that period could have been considered an admirable safety hazard violation worthy of Guinness World Records status.

When I was graduating from high school, my older sister told me that college is the place where I'll make my lifelong friends. I prayed then that she was correct because I couldn't imagine getting through such a big change in my life without good friends by my side. I've come to realize that my sister was right because throughout my college journey, I made a few friends who I can definitely see being there for the biggest moments in my life. In my freshman year of college, I met an unassuming but incredibly creative young man named Raymond Campbell III and since then he's been a friend that I know I can always call on and he's doing great things in his life.

The following contains graphic depictions of a violent crime, and may trigger some readers. He was missing for three days and the police never looked for him. It’s hard to know, so many years later, if the police in Philadelphia routinely didn’t look too hard for missing children living in a homeless shelter. Christopher’s fault was that he liked to trade baseball cards, and at the age of 12 still had a friendly, trusting nature. Baseball had a dark underbelly in its trading cards.
