Image is everything, and no, it's not just a photography pun. When you upload your photos to the Internet, you want them to really connect with your audience. One of the best ways to do this is by designing an amazing photography website.

It was summer 2009, and my divorce was final after a Colorado mandated three-month separation. One month prior to being “separated,” I had just returned from a difficult 15-month tour in Iraq. While deployed with the 4th Infantry Division in Baghdad, I was part of a combined arms team of nearly 6000 U.S. service members fighting to win The Battle of Sadr City through the worst combat since the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Jeff Wall had the best ideas. He used to stage photographs that looked like they were street photographs. But in reality, they weren’t. The “street” photographs he took way back in the early 80s were reconstructions of what Wall envisioned street shots should be like.

If there's one thing I've learned, no thing you do is too small. Pennies add up. It's amazing how a small things like this can make such a huge difference in the environment. I don't know why more people aren't talking about periods in the first place, let alone how to handle them, but it's about time we said something.

Why I'm Quitting Avocados
Millennial woman loves avocados: sounds like a headline from the Onion. But I really, really do love them. I didn’t eat avocados every day, but on the days when I didn’t, they were sitting in my fruit bowl waiting to ripen. Just thinking of them makes my mouth water; the buttery taste, the squishy green flesh, the creamy splendour of the really good ones. And yet, despite what could perhaps be described as an obsession with the little green beauty, last year I concluded that I have to give them up. Yes, with a very heavy heart, I cancelled avocados.

Sharing my story with you takes courage, especially when acne has had such an impact on my life from a pretty early age. It made its debut when I was only 8 years old. At that age it was unusual to have "giant chicken pox" as my classmates liked to call it, on your face. Having oily skin, I particularly got them in my T-zone and did whatever I could to hide them. I would hide them under my crooked home-cut bangs, wear hoods to cover my cheeks, etc. I never had a problem with acne until my friends pointed out I was the only one in the group with it.
A Seamless Legacy
We never forget those who taught us to sew. In a way, it’s like learning to manifest your creativity. Being handed the keys to unleash your imagination. Liberation in the form of fabric and thread.
An Update on Updates: Vocal’s Upcoming Features

Cruella is a punk rock visual fantasia shot through the prism of the Disney empire. Directed by Craig Gillespie, and starring Emma Stone, the film carries a distinctive aesthetic but one wonders what beats beneath the metaphorical chest of this spectacle. Sure, we do have the emotion of yet another dead Disney parent, one killed before our very eyes near the start of the film, but we’ve grown so used to this Disney trope that the impact is relatively minor.

Warrior
View print sizes for Warrior by Chris Fallows: Story Behind the Photograph: Warrior Contrary to popular belief, the life of a male lion is not that easy. Even though male lions are most often seen lying down, or commandeering the spoils of their lionesses’ hard work, when their call to action comes, it is usually extremely hostile.
Chris FallowsPublished 3 years ago in Earth Pink Tax: The Cost of Being a Female Consumer
Have you ever asked yourself why you can get condoms for free but you're forced to pay an arm and a leg for a box of tampons? Really think about that for a second- you can walk into almost any health clinic and get condoms at no cost- but this is not applicable to menstrual products. At around $9 per box, the average Canadian woman spends $6000 in their lifetime JUST on menstrual hygiene products (CBC 2018). This sends a very alarming and incorrect message that having a menstrual cycle is a choice.
My Journey Through Luthiery
Before I embarked on the art of luthiery, I started my career as a mechanical engineer through an apprenticeship at a local engineering manufacturing factory at the age of sixteen (2012). I completed my apprenticeship four years later as well as achieving a Higher National Certificate at Southdowns College. My first taste of Luthiery started when I was required to do a project for my engineering studies (2014). I decided to build an Acoustic Guitar!
Start by offering 10 minutes to nature, every day
Throughout Lockdown 2020, I felt very grateful to live near to green hills, a river and the sea. I discovered that by being slow and still, I could connect more deeply with the universe than when travelling the globe. By doing less externally, deep inner work could finally be done. My mind at last became silent enough to listen.

Every person has a certain kind of love language. Some show their love through touch, others through their words. Some show it through gifts while others show it through actions. My mother’s love language is presence. Being there. Showing her support by showing up.
Megan ClancyPublished 3 years ago in FamiliesThree Powerful Keys for Success I Learned From my Badass Grandmother.
If you ever crossed my grandmother on the street, you probably would not have seen her. She was 4’11’, reserved, and soft-spoken. And yet, the only word I can use to describe this tiny woman is magnificent. Born in a village in the mountainous coffee region of Colombia, orphaned at a young age and educated only to the fifth grade, she refused to play the hand that life had dealt her. Tata (her nickname) was not one to pontificate, but she was always ready to listen and educate if you approached her. I learned many lessons from this fantastic woman; here, I want to share the three keys to success that made the most significant impact in my life.

Why won't anybody please think of the turtles!!! Image from Sport Diver.org Image from Australian Geographic Pretty dramatic, huh? Rest assured, these pictures are tame compared to the graphic, heartbreaking, gory ones I found while researching my topic. Due to my respect for wildlife, and my mom's intense love for turtles, I won't be showing those. Yes, the reality is often darker than it needs to be. But, if it gets the point across, then it's worth the trouble.

Sometimes when I miss you, I imagine what you would be doing right now. You would be away at university right now. I imagine you would be happy, you'd have a lot of friends, and I know you'd be doing great. After all, you inherited your grandmother's brains.

Intro It's funny how powerful words can be when the world is out of tune. I clear my voice to tell you how words have penetrated my mind, and they have made me rethink choices, make changes, and become an advocate for healthy living. Now...how I came about these texts is merely coincidental.
