As we are continuously searching for fresh creators and inspiring stories, this thread provides an opportunity to exchange and discuss the stories that have moved and motivated us on Vocal.
How to join the š¢ Raise Your Voice Thread:
- Introduce yourself in the comment section of this story and tell us what you create on Vocal.
- Shoutout a Vocal creator you recommend reading. Include the URL of a writer or story that inspired you and why.
- If you like a story another person has recommended, send that story's creator a like, leave a comment, and/or subscribe to them.

The Longest Minute
A minute. Sixty seconds to say goodbye. Thatās all the time that I had left with him as the needle slid into his leg. Something amazing and meaningful by my close personal friend Debbi Lonmon. Debbi, with her sister Jenni were superstars in South Africa during the entire 1990s with their band Little Sister. They racked up five #1 hits in South Africa as well as another half dozen in the Top 40. Jenni is my bestie as she lives in The OC now.
