Dave Chappelle got it right ‘The Age of Spin’ is officially dead with social media playing a large role in it; you may not realize it now but the evidence is as clear as an X-ray and finding success on the gram and genuine streams or views across social media has become a trend we seem to focus.

The Energy Checkbook
How are you spending your energy? Each day we are using our energy for multiple tasks. You can spend your energy on things as big or as small as you like. It could be a work day doing various jobs. Or as small as opening a refrigerator door. But whatever you're doing, you're spending energy. I learned this concept from Dr. Bruce Lipton. The man behind the "Biology of Belief". He talked about an energy checkbook and how we spend it every day.

Are we so afraid of failure we end up failing ourselves?
As the saying goes: 'no-one’s perfect.' Then why do we work so hard at trying to get things right - all the time? Nobody wants to intentionally fail, and not showing up for a presentation or a test can be down to fear. It’s what we tell ourselves that determines our next steps and sometimes, the next few years of our lives.

WHO IS EDB?
Insanity, a word which as many definitions. (1)the state of being seriously mentally ill; madness. (2)extreme foolishness or irrationality. All of those are good, but the one I am most familiar with is one we have used in these streets. A train of thought which must have escaped the academic minds. The TRUE DEFINITION of insanity is... “Doing the SAME THING looking for a Different Outcome!!” Another key word I want to focus on is SAME THING.. Ya see doing the same thing has a lot of layers. That could mean, working for the same company despite it constantly keeping you pissed TF off.. It could mean hanging out with the same people, who constantly leave you wanting to vomit, or even attending the same places which trigger unpleasant thoughts and or feelings. If you are like me, you constantly ask yourselves, why you keep putting yourself through this 💩💩??

The One Simple Key To Life
Don’t watch the clock. Do what it does. Keep Going. That quote is plastered on posters meant to be inspirational for employees in thousands of workplaces. Typically, that poster is mounted next to the one with the adorable kitten dangling from a rope with a caption that reads, “hang in there.”

Get your life right!!
Are you trying to better yourself and make a difference in the world? Well so am I. I have this thing that I start to wonder what do I have to offer to the world or even just my community. I catch myself thinking about this a lot. Sometimes i think its because I feel like I’m not living my best life and I’m not living to my life’s full potential. Many people have skills that are necessary for life but don't know how to put them to work. Do you know what your skills are?? Take the time to sit down and actually analyze yourself. Once you analyze yourself you will have a better understanding of not only your worth but what you can bring to the table with your personal skills. once you analyzed yourself you will be able to even start your own business with your already acquired skills.

The Great Responsibility
“Do not let the roles you play in life make you forget that you are human.” ~Roy T. Bennett I once heard someone say that being in the form of a human being comes with a responsibility. Think about that for a second. Look at a cricket, a cat, or a dog. Look at any form of animal, insect or creature. A spider, a butterfly, a dragonfly, a bird, a lizard. Any one of these creatures could be our experience. We didn't have to come here as a human being.

Changing or Choosing?
Recently, I went back to my old house in South Carolina and spent some time with my father. I was surprised to see that the room that I spent many teenage years in was just how I left it. Nothing had moved. Nothing had changed. Everything had remained the same.

Identity in the wilderness
Ahh the wilderness. What a tragic place to be in. There are various definitions of the wilderness but for simplicity sake, I will focus on one. Merriam webster’s dictionary provided the following explanations of the wilderness; “a tract or region uncultivated and uninhabited by human beings”; and my personal favorite, “a bewildering situation”; how apt. Essentially its a sucky place that sucks to the highest heavens. For better understanding, the wilderness in question here is a metaphor for the point in time where all that lays before you and behind you is emptiness and the oasis you so thirst for has fucked off somewhere. Most people lovingly call this, the transition phase where there are little to no positive discernable and stable features of reality to grab a hold onto.
