Street culture & its Monarchy
When we talk about the leading fashion distributor for urban/modern street culture wear in South Africa one name always seems to come to mind and that’s “Sportscene” and without a doubt why wouldn’t it be with artists such as @Nasty_CSA & @NadiaNakai previously and currently collaborating with the clothing distributors in-house brand Redbat and now with one of the largest Sportscene stores in Sandton City that I know of; they’ve built a hub for modern street culture with its store housing facilities such as an indoor basketball court, sneaker cleaning station, tattoo studio and the crown jewel of the store its Sportscene recording Studio which most of us didn’t know of till now.

The Woman Behind Legacy: An Empire is Born
Some might argue that an Empire can only be birthed from hard work and a Roman work ethic (we’ve all heard the phrase Rome wasn’t built in a day, so we work for it); while others claim or argue that an Empire can only be birthed by ones legacy that has been left behind and XXC is becoming the evidence of this hard-working Rome ethic by building a legacy that is one of a kind with her all-inclusive fashion show. The Legacy fashion show which began in 2015 and has been running for 5-years being help annually or biannually and we hope to see the fashion show become more than just a fashion show but a legacy that has been left behind and that is what the Legacy fashion show is about leaving a platform for creatives to come together even long after XXC has left her mark not only in the fashion industry but as well as entertainment industry.

The Art of Selling Sex
Is it prostitution or self-worth? As a society we’ve voted to sell sex unwillingly and the people are yet to stand against this abuse and speak out; though some may argue that their identity is found in so called outrages outfits raging from the thrift, punk, classic and many more worlds we have forgotten to outline the difference between sexual appearances for approval and sexual appearances for affirmation; there is no subtle way to present or read this article as there are issues we need to address and this seem to be just the right time to lay in the beds we’ve made and discuss these issues.

The Gram & Genuine streams Top Story - February 2020
Dave Chappelle got it right ‘The Age of Spin’ is officially dead with social media playing a large role in it; you may not realize it now but the evidence is as clear as an X-ray and finding success on the gram and genuine streams or views across social media has become a trend we seem to focus.

Pay for Play
In an ever so vast world and industry it’s often hard to pick up on a scam such as Paying for Plays or Paying to get Playlisted on platforms such as Spotify, Tidal, and so forth. Paying for plays has seem to become an epidemic that if not most artists all new indie artist seem to fall for. And I’m not here to discourage anyone from participating in such an act though it would be wise to read this article to its entirety because this may save you funds in the long run that you may need for other aspects of your career such as social media marketing, album art designers, distribution and so on. At this point you may be asking what Paying for Plays is or what Paying to get Playlisted does; so let’s jump right into the definitions and help YOU avoid a scam you cannot afford now.

The Last Chair & Hip-Hop
When going to the barber we seem to avoid the last chair for those that don’t know the last chair is; the last chair is always the worst barber either learning to cut hair, starting off in the hair cutting game, or just simply too old to cut hair and this is there only source of income (even though they would tell you once upon a fade they were the best in the game and I don’t mean this with any disrespect at some point pops you’ll need to hang up the clippers). For many years everyone seems to wonder why we’ve avoided the last chair and why hair seems to be a major conversation starter for most men and the entertainment industry. Well you shall finally get your answer and we hope it makes you happy from your fresh fade all the way up to that slick high top taking back to the house party days with Kid ‘n Play. We do admit some of you maybe young to not know who Kid ‘n Play are but this image should help as a reference just in case you may feel lost or unaware of whom the hip-hop duo are.

The Voice We Need
After attending my first Creators Live event on the 29th of Nov 2019 I realized that Creators Live has become one of the fastest growing networking platforms for all creatives in South Africa; and dare I say the rest of Africa and soon the world. Creators Live has become the evidence of success in an industry that fails to recognize its young and upcoming artists and creatives, as South Africa has a difficulty in accepting and adapting to the new world of entertainment and creativity.

Another Secret Love Poem
You reignited my chasm of a figuratively speaking dormant vessel, so before it dies out again Mulatto wanted to let you know he stalked you. He watched the way your body found comfort on chair, torques dress I would mention your waist but I'm afraid I'd get the size wrong; and we'd laugh about it then you'd tell me I'm rude and smile with peach lips and crimson rose gold checks.
