2021. I’m Ready!!
In 2008, I got the left foot of fellowship from the house of religion. I was lost, I was severely frustrated, I was freshly removed from college, and most importantly, I was laughably broke. That was the year, when I should have surveyed what went wrong. Tried to understand how I got out of line, seeking to like the prodigal son find my way back home, but that wasn’t me. No I get into what some see as trouble, and I just dig in.

Resolutions Made After That Year
It's almost become cliché to say that 2020 was a bad year. It was and I'm not denying that, but this year I'm taking some of the life lessons that I learned and turning them into a set of resolutions I hope to take into 2021. We need to be aware that the turning of the clock will not heal a broken world, but hopefully a broken year can make us all into somewhat better people.

Moving forward finally
Its that time of year again time for self improvements, letting go of old habits in which do not serve you, or learning something new. So 2020 left us some what a stagnant energy in more ways than one so needless to say I have been thirsty to embark on new goals. 2020 will always have such a bad rep, But was it really that bad? I say this in the most genuine way, its just misunderstood. Im taking it as a time I reflected on myself, my ambitions, values and well had some rest. Boo hoo life was put on pause from our fast paced lives working at a shit job, unhappy, thirsting for more, picking up bad habits just to escape this life we made for ourselves, and never forgiving ourselves for not making it better. Its a double edged sword. i'm moving to a whole new state across country, I will be going to school for a degree and something I find interesting for a while. I loved my career, 16 years strong and I just need something different, I need a reboot. Right now I am bracing myself for this huge change in life, I am aligning myself or at least searching where I can align myself with my goals. I am stepping out of my comfort zone. I needed to be in my comfort zone during 2020 because I don't think I would have made it to 2021 somewhat sane. I feel secure and ready to accomplish some major goals, this would never be possible if it had not been for my support system (my best friends), my thirst(had lots of rest in 2020). Change in my life requires taking paths unknown. Now this can be accomplished by taking that "danger" "do not enter" caution tape, the one you cannot see very far down due to the lack of light and thick fog. I don't mean this in the literal sense but, to embark on something different. most people and myself always tend to take that sunny, clear ,singing birds path. There is nothing wrong with this path, if you plan to stay where you are at in life for a while, but if you need a change, you have to do something to create different possibilities by taking the path unknown. I have always considered myself a bit of a rebel my motto is "I doos what I want". So much that I have been ballsy enough to raise my fist and tell the universe ,god, source, or creator those exact words. Did I do what I want? Yes, but under the terms that are not my own. I do not know if this move is the right move or even if its getting closer to aligning myself to my goals. I do know this, iI do know it is not going to just fall in my lap in my comfort zone because it would have already done so. I know the universe does not want me to sit and wait for it either. if I did that then the universe would cause some catastrophic things to happen to push me out of my comfort zone and i do not want that either. I do not have to really know anything just experience life learn from them and listen to those subtle I mean very subtle signs that the universe gives me. I am done working for anybody but myself, I feel like I am ready for school I feel like I am ready for a new career, and I am worthy of freedom.

The Problem With Entitlement
So let me start by painting a picture for you. It’s the holiday season, let’s say BC, (Before Covid) and you are walking into your favorite store to do some Christmas shopping. At the door you see that staple of the season, the red Salvation Army kettle with the bell ringer. You know the bell ringer personally so you strike up a conversation and start to walk off. They yell your name and ask you where your donation is. You tell them you don’t have anything extra to give and they get UPSET. They begin to question you and demand to know why you didn’t give anything….so what do you say…the nerve of this dude, turn around and ask them ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! To your surprise they reply yes.

10 Quotes To Encourage You To Pursue Your Passion
It's pretty normal for us to start working as early as our mid teens, just to get some exposure to job experience, and to start earning some money for ourselves. At that age, we have to find a happy medium in juggling our study, our work, and time with our friends. The sad part is, starting work at the age of say 15, it leaves us with 50 years of work in front of us. That's a mighty long time. Even for those who start work after their studies have finished, that's still at least 45 years of work ahead them also. Considering that work will then consume around a third of the time we are alive throughout those 45 to 50 years, and another third would be allocated to sleeping, we are only left with one third of that time to do some of the things in life we enjoy, such as spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching television, and engaging in our hobbies. Let's be honest, much of that latter third is spent doing necessities also, such as cooking food, showering, eating, and cleaning the house. Where are we supposed to find the happiness and satisfaction we so desperately desire in life? How can we expect a handful of hours each day to deliver us this happiness and satisfaction? We only need to look around and see how many people are dissatisfied and unhappy about their lifestyle, because they have no flexibility or freedom to live a life they desire. People are tired, stressed, and demotivated, all because they are overworked, and worst of all, it's all caused by a job they don't even enjoy. The desperation for survival, comfort, and security, has most people settling for any old job, just so they have an income stream. Sure, we all need money to pay our bills, maintain a roof over our head, and provide food on the table, but why do so many of us settle for earning an income doing something we hate, rather than doing something we enjoy? If we are going to spend 45 to 50 years of our life working to earn a living, surely it makes sense to do something that makes us happy, and something we are truly passionate about? The problem is, we become too comfortable in our job, we become totally reliant on that paycheck, and we are fearful of making changes and taking risks to pursue something that we would enjoy, that we end up just settling for the job we have. We fail to invest time into seeking and devising options to turn our passion into our profession, we fail to believe in ourselves that we can create success from it, and we are concerned how others would perceive us if we did something different. For the sake of our happiness, satisfaction, and potential for success in the future, it's an absolute must that we find work we are truly passionate about. In discovering that passion, we become more motivated, we become inspired, we work more efficiently, and we naturally work at a higher standard. That third of life that make us miserable and unhappy, working a job we don't even enjoy, can be completely transformed. We start finding satisfaction, happiness, and fulfillment in the work we do, and even better, we get paid for doing work we enjoy. It's about getting off our butt, getting clear on what we are passionate about in life, and then manufacturing that into a business, or applying for that job we have always dreamed of. Being passionate about our work is what drives us to become successful, it helps us find our purpose, and it contributes to us finding happiness and satisfaction in life. Here are 10 quotes to help encourage you to gain clarity on what you are passionate about in life, and inspire you to turn that passion into a career.

Dear 2021
Dear 2021: To say that I have been anticipating your arrival would be a gross understatement. Every new year brings the promise of optimism, positive change, growth, and new beginnings. However, given how your younger sibling 2020 wreaked absolute havoc upon the world, there is so much pressure upon you to bring this and so much more. I think I can speak for all of us that we are hoping that you are the relief that we have been hoping for; we are waiting with bated breath to see if you, 2021, will bring about a healing that we so desperately need. We are counting on you to be the year that this hellscape called reality finally transforms into something we can all look forward to. If nothing else, we need you to be the year that order begin to be restored and recovery from a hellacious 2020 can begin.

2020 Taught Me...
This year, 2021, will be all about personal commitment and challenging myself. We all face challenges so why not choose ones for improvement? I want to be more intentional... I listened to a masterclass on Alignment in business yesterday and it’s a balancing act really. Being the wanderer that I am, I usually just “go with the flow.” I’m always “lost in the right direction.” I can’t say that pursuing my interests hasn’t led me anywhere I don’t wish to be but setting intentions helps me manifest and keeps me aligned with my purpose. I would also like more self-awareness, can never do without it really especially as an actor. I wrote about some challenges that I inadvertently set for myself last year and their outcomes. Read about it here:
