As I sit at my window the Earth holds its breath. At times, everything is perfectly still, and even the leaves freeze in place. This has been my home for many years, and the view is locked in a permanent setting.
Some might say the UK is legendary for having such a variety of popular music festivals. From Glastonbury, to the Isle of Wight Festival. Or from Download to the Reading and Leeds Festival. All across the country, from May to September, festivals become the main focus of a lot of peoples lives.
So, we can all agree that lockdown is going on FOREVER. Quarantined life feels like the norm and social distancing is the talk of the town. And right now, I’m glad for it; it is keeping us a whole lot safer than if we were just mixing and mingling with each other during such crazy times.
Take me to this place. Definitely anytime, but not just anywhere. Here. Away from the grey skies and isolation, to clear waters and freedom. Although a virtual holiday is the best we’ll get right now, I know the next real holiday I take will be magical.
