Small Town Gem
This little hidden gem is located in Burrton, Kansas. The population is around a thousand people, give or take a few. It's located approximately forty miles northwest of Wichita, Kansas. Kansas, the place that everyone likes to make references to The Wizard of Oz. I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but it was actually filmed in Oklahoma. Just a little fun fact for you. There really is no place like home. The Barn will make you feel like you are at home eating a home cooked meal on a Sunday afternoon. This quaint and country themed restaurant will leave your taste buds speechless with their amazing chicken fried steak. It just doesn't get any better than that. They have mouthwatering steaks, country fried appetizers, chicken, pork chops, burgers, and many tasty sides to choose from. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and friendly. When you walk in the door, you are greeted with warm and friendly smiles. Their warm and welcoming smiles are just the beginning of the impressive experience that you are about to encounter. The waiting area has rustic painted benches with rustic decor hanging on the walls. As you enter the restaurant itself, a warm and cozy feeling fills your heart and makes you smile. The smells that your nose encounters are heavenly. The decor is a mixture of rustic, antique, and country all rolled into one. From the barn wood walls to the grain bin that has been converted into a bar, the uniqueness of this restaurant is flattering. The old rustic signs that hang on the walls are a reminder of the "good ole days". From the light fixtures to the hard wood floors, everything is spectacular. There are two large barn doors that open up to the outside for different occasions. They have a few televisions to watch sporting events. Kansans like their food, their beer, and their football. If you bring all of that and put tasty food into the mix, then you are successful at winning the hearts of a Kansan.

Sushi, Service, and a Smile
There are probably half a dozen sushi restaurants, or more, in Kamloops. My boyfriend, J, and I dared to adventure a few weeks ago and try out a Korean-Japanese restaurant neither one of us had been to. Other than that though, we've really only gone to one restaurant for sushi: Arigato Sushi.

British Sushi Sailor
My favourite restaurant has packed up and moved north already. The Sailor hated it here. It was the best place in town while he was around. It felt energetic, real and full of his rude personality. Not much else was there. Some wooden furniture, four seats at the bar, two or three tables and some Japanese hangings he brought over.

How to Make a Pancake in the Oven
My family and friends adore my Swedish pancakes, but I’m not quite so enthusiastic about making them. Either everyone else eats while I make batch after batch; or have to get up early, make them, and stash them in the oven on warm until we all sit down to eat. Neither option is very appealing. I still make them once in a while, especially for birthdays, but when somebody asks for pancakes, I often opt for this excellent substitute: Manka’s Babies.

Khan's Mongolian Barbecue
In the depths of South Minneapolis, past Eat Street, past the Midtown Global Market, past Minnehaha Creek, lies the sleepy neighborhood of Richfield. A straight shot, 20 minutes by car and maybe a 45-minute bike ride or bus ride from Downtown, straight down Portland Avenue a full 72 blocks from where the Derek Chauvin trial is happening, in this sleepy neighborhood, is my own little piece of heaven.

The Ocean City And Cultural Cuisine
Living in Britain’s Ocean City, we have many local restaurants which will serve incredibly fresh sea food while offering a stunning view of the sea. We have many brilliant fish and chip shops which is a staple of the British nation however our city is also up with the greats for offering a varied range of many different cuisines. From Kebabs to Burgers, Plymouth has a vast scope of culture so choosing a favourite is near enough impossible. Instead of going to the big chain restaurants like McDonalds, Five Guys or Taco Bell, why not try these local gems?

I need to tell you about the best bologna sandwich I've ever had. I realize that most people don't have specific memories about bologna sandwiches...or even specific feelings about bologna sandwiches...but years later I can tell you every delicious detail about that sandwich. It was that good.

Hi-Pointe
I remember when I used to work at a hotel near by this restaurant and how it used to fill me up and make my day . I still go there , even after I quit my job , and order food. I still remember how I would have their grilled salad with those hearty leafy greens, with all the nice looking walnuts ( for the crunch ) and the fruit as well to get me through the day to the burgers , yes the burgers , making it the most top teir’iest thing that someone can every make. I love their arch d-lie. I used to buy that one a lot with their special audule sauce ( I forgot how to spell it and also what is call. Please don’t kill me ! ) . That was the best especially when you are working in a small space hotel and your co-workers can smell it through the hallway. That’s how amazing it is. If you are wondering who I am speaking about , then let me introduce to you to Hi-Pointe . With their unbeatable , unstoppable menu you cannot deny their orders to fill you up and make your day, date night or whatever day you have. They will make sure to make your day.
