Board Game Challenges
I have a dream ... many dreams, really. But lately, as I've been in heavy board game mode (obsessed right now), I have particular dreams ... relating to board games. I've come across a couple challenges (and have an idea for my own personal challenge) that would allow me to play more board games than I currently do ... which would be a dream come true!
Movie Lover Haven: A Game, A Subscription, and A Magazine
I absolutely LOVE movies! I tend to shy away from calling myself a "movie buff" or "cinephile" -- there are so many movies I feel I still NEED to see before I can officially use one of those titles. But maybe ... film aficionado?
I love that Vocal has separated its stories and articles into communities -- 38 beautifully diverse topics to explore! When we submit our writing, however, we can add "tags" ... which I personally like to see as sub-categories, or in this case, sub-COMMUNITIES. Why is this not a thing on the community pages though? Why aren't able to go to a community and see the tags listed at the top? I'd love to be able to just click a tag link so I can narrow my focus on what I want to read even more.
How Do I Want to Earn My Income?
January 2020, I hit a breaking point. I had lost my Grandpa six weeks prior, and I was seriously questioning if teaching was still the right career choice for me ... 4 months away from finishing my teaching degree. On top of this, I had just discovered life coaching as an option, so I was considering if this was a viable career option for me.
Last week, I wrote an article for a recent Vocal challenge (Sweet Nostalgia), about my love of the 1980s. I commented on a couple hair trends and a fashion trend I'd love to see be brought back (if they haven't already), and how I wish I had the confidence to pull off these looks.
Music Gives Me Feels
Do you have any songs that make you sing so powerfully the experience brings a tear to your eye? ... I may have a few of those. In fact, a fair few are from my middle and high school years, and I still listen to them on occasion for the nostalgia factor.
