Let The Tears Flow as the Knife Goes In Deeper
You’ve been read the fairy tale stories about love and how Prince Charming will one day whisk you away. The blissful and endless love of admiration. No tales of fights, arguments or anything ugly. The beauty of it all capitivates you and makes you long for that.

Who Do You Call at 1am?
Sleep evades me. Separation from my three year old son for a year now, for his safety and mine. In the darkness of not knowing. No video chats, pictures or really aware of what goes on in his life. All the doors shut and communication lacking while the court order says different. I was told it’s like trauma to the body to go from carrying him nine months to being with him twenty-four seven for a year to being ripped apart and out of my life. I had to make a hard decision to leave a toxic relationship with my son’s father for my safety and his.

My Disappearing Act
Has your heart ever been so heavy and broken? Have you been through so much that you just become so drained and lost? That you are searching for your identity. I am going through that now. I decided to be like a magician and do a disappearing act and delete all social media platforms. Become a ghost per se. As a writer that is something hard to do; when my doctor laid me off work and writing is my life now, other than my son. I am healing from so much that I have to disappear to find me.

He's One of The Good Ones
Have you ever met a good one? There were many times I felt I had a good one. Do you know how magicians fool you with their tricks into believing an illusion? Men can do that. It took me a while to truly see that he wasn’t an illusion and it wasn’t smoke and mirrors. It took me a while to see my wrongs and how I lost him. For the one who gets him next, I want you to know he’s one of the good ones and I let him slip through my fingers and he’s worth holding on to. Don’t make my mistakes. Don’t be looking at these jesters while the king is trying to place the crown on that beautiful head of yours.

Do You Want Her?
Men can get into relationships easily. Some men find that a challenge. Then there are times relationships fizzle out, become toxic, was a lesson or they will last. There is so much to this complexity of a relationship and of a woman. I have written my most beloved piece called, “How to Keep Her.” This time I want to dive into the things that turn a woman off and on. The things that make her lose interest. I’m a woman who wants to help our fellow men try to navigate the complex nature of a woman and their brain.

My Review of The Oreo House
You all are familiar with the classic gingerbread house. I know Christmas and that holiday tradition has passed barely with me. We all need recovery from the holidays and to regroup from it all. I wanted to share my wonderful experience of the Oreo House my family and I built and ate right before Christmas. I personally never been a fan of the gingerbread house because I always felt it was too hard to eat and didn’t have the right balance of taste. I mean it looks great putting it together. Aren’t you suppose to have fun eating it after or am I wrong in that part? When I saw the commercials for the Oreo House I was like a child waiting for Santa to arrive. That thrill and excitement all brought to life. Oreo's are a classic. You will find few who don’t like Oreo's but I’m pretty sure the majority will be for Oreo's.

I Used to Be His and a House Dog
Mom, You’ve had me since I was born. The moment I felt your belly move with this foreign being, I gave you a look of confusion. Although I’m a dog, I know something is in your belly. I lay on your belly and I can feel him. I gave him snuggles. When he was born you wouldn’t let me come around him for months.
