I Dutch-Ovened Myself
First and foremost, I HATE the word "fart." I like to do it, but I HATE the word! So, expect all the insinuations of THAT WORD imaginable in my story.

It has been over a month since my last diary (19th February 2020). That is a period of five weeks during which life here at Omar Towers and the rest of the world has changed dramatically all because of the CORVID 19 virus.

Since the last diary I am pleased to say that the peace and tranquility of feline life here at Omar Towers has not been disturbed by “trade” entering the premises.

I must apologise as it has been over a month since I last updated everyone about life here at Omar Towers. Since then there has been a General Election (the less said about that the better), Christmas, New Year, rain and mysterious viruses afflicting the Servants.

In my previous diary (Omar’s Diary to 16th November 2019) I mentioned my concern that Man Servant was getting into a rut with his choice of newspaper. Leading up to that comment he had brought home The Times more than five times and I was worried his opinions were becoming set. I urged him to bring something different into the library here at Omar Towers.

The main event of the week was on Tuesday. Man Servant pressed a fresh shirt and trousers to make up two changes of wardrobe including boots and socks. Last night, 31st October 2019, the country was meant to have left the European Union (EU) but that departure date has been deferred until 31st January 2020.

Lady and Man Servant were away on their travels on Monday and Tuesday of this week. They did manage to serve Mitsi and I breakfast on Monday morning before making a rather hurried departure in the ‘red thing.’ As it was such a nice day, I heard Man Servant suggest they could travel with the roof down. I think the journey to wherever they were going was rather silent.

A varied week that started at Longchamp in Paris on Sunday and ended with correspondence from Paddington Bear on Saturday.

This last week has gone by quicker than a three-year-old racehorse leaving the stalls at the start of a five-furlong sprint.

The past week at Omar Towers has been quiet to say the least. Lady Servant contracted a rather nasty virus and so the comings and goings were much reduced.
