Omar's Diary to 16th November 2019
The main event of the week was on Tuesday. Man Servant pressed a fresh shirt and trousers to make up two changes of wardrobe including boots and socks. These were packed into the “red thing” and the rush was on to get to the stables by ten for a photo shoot that Man Servant was partaking in with one of the equines.
Omar's Diary - Monday 11th November 2019
As-Saalam-Alikum (Translated from Arabic to: Peace Be Unto You) Today at Omar Towers it really did feel like winter was beginning to bite.
Omar's Diary to 1st November 2019
Last night, 31st October 2019, the country was meant to have left the European Union (EU) but that departure date has been deferred until 31st January 2020.
Omar's Diary to 25th October 2019
Lady and Man Servant were away on their travels on Monday and Tuesday of this week. They did manage to serve Mitsi and I breakfast on Monday morning before making a rather hurried departure in the ‘red thing.’ As it was such a nice day, I heard Man Servant suggest they could travel with the roof down. I think the journey to wherever they were going was rather silent.
Omar's Diary to 12th October, 2019
A varied week that started at Longchamp in Paris on Sunday and ended with correspondence from Paddington Bear on Saturday.
Omar's Diary to 5th October, 2019
This last week has gone by quicker than a three-year-old racehorse leaving the stalls at the start of a five-furlong sprint.
Omar's Diary to 27th September 2019
The past week at Omar Towers has been quiet to say the least. Lady Servant contracted a rather nasty virus and so the comings and goings were much reduced.
Omar's Diary to 22nd September 2019
As some of you may already be aware, I have been slightly concerned about a slippage in the standards here at Omar Towers. The catalyst for this appears to have been the invasion of trade during the month of August.
Omar's Diary to 14 September, 2019
The normal Saturday rhythms here at Omar Towers were interrupted when the post was forced through the letter box and clunked on to the floor of the baronial hall.
If Animals Could Talk...
I am quite certain people have asked themselves from time to time about what if animals could talk. Seriously, suppose for one second animals gained the ability to speak. What would they tell us? How would we respond? The conversations about humankind and animals would be astounding. The pluses would be people would have a better understanding of their pets and the lives of their pets.
Omar's Diary for August 2019
One can quite easily summarise the events here at Omar Towers during August in two words: UPHEAVAL & CHANGE Change? It isn't what it used to be.
Omar's Diary to August 10, 2019
It does not feel very much like summer currently as there have been heavy rains and strong winds attacking the windows of Omar Towers that are forecast to continue for the rest of today. It feels like the encroachment of Autumn into Summer. A good day for remaining indoors and sorting things out.
