Do I dare?
Do I have what it takes? Will they read what I say? Did I leave the oven on? How many questions fly through your mind every time you take a chance? If you are lucky, one, maybe two, and they are something powerful and meaningful like "Who the hell can stop me?" or "Why wait another second?" Yeah... those are good questions... they are getting you somewhere. Not gonna hold you down. Good for you. Me, oh I get more than one or two.. I get dozens. "Why would anyone read my stuff?" "Who do you think you are?" "I mean really, did I leave the oven on.... I baked pizza... burned my finger... said some pretty words... um... did I... ?"

Your Time Will Come!
In a world that is so fast paced, and one in which time is so precious and valuable, it can be extremely hard to exercise patience. These days, many of us can't even go to a grocery store, and not get agitated and frustrated when we see a line up at the checkouts. It's because we know we have far more important things to be doing than wasting time lining up at a supermarket checkout. Having previously worked behind the telling counter at a bank, plus as a checkout manager at a grocery store, there would barely be one day that went by in which there wasn't at least one customer who would complain about having to wait in line. Whilst many companies tend to shortchange the frontline of their business on staff numbers, just to save on costs, much of the time, queues form off the back of an influx of customer numbers, who all seem to have a habit of flocking in at the same time. Not that it's prearranged or anything, it's just that people have the same idea at the same time. Even in the business I run nowadays, many customers basically want their product delivered yesterday, such is the impatience of humankind. When it comes to achieving our goals, success, and wealth, our impatience tends to be at its worst, and most destructive. Most of us know exactly what goals we want to achieve, what we desire, and what will provide us happiness and satisfaction, the problem is, the majority of us don't want to have to work for it. We want it now! Sadly for us though, life doesn't work that way. To achieve our goals, not only is there a lot of hard work involved, but a lot of effort, a lot of energy, a lot of commitment, a lot of dedication, a lot of perseverance, a lot of resilience, and above all, a lot of patience.

How to Stop Running Away From Your Difficulties Right Now
The class presentation was in a week’s time. It was the initiation of a week’s long ceremony of assignments, tests, and other presentations. In short, it was a tiny part of long and busy finals. Every day there was some or another deadline. I truly wanted to get done with work as soon as possible and relax for a short while before entering another, even more, busier week.

Day One: Does it count if I took a nap?
Today was the official start of my 30 day challenge. I awoke at 6:30 AM and surprisingly really enjoyed it. It was still dark outside and my heavy eyes begged for the opportunity for five more minutes. However, I'm the boss of my own body and I wanted to get up at 6:30 AM so that's what I did and began my day.

Things Florence Given has taught me about being a woman in a patriarchal world
For the past few months, I've been following Florence Given quote closely on Instagram. Like many social activists, she uses her instagram platform to raise issues of awareness of sexuality, race and gender and has created some pretty incredible artwork embedded with sharp and witty slogans about the above issues, one of which is my desktop background. Florence recently published a book called Women Don't Owe You Pretty, which broke a bunch of records after its publication and is probably one of my favourite reads of 2020. It's definitely my favourite feminist manifesto and opened my eyes to many behavioural, emotional and psychological things that I was subconsciously (or consciously) doing to myself and additionally, what norms living in a patriarchal society inflicts upon women. So I thought I'd share a few points which stood out for me and made me ponder on my own internal and external thoughts, actions, lifestyle and tendencies. I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe, some of them will resonate with you too. They are as follows:

The Truth is
The truth is we reach a point where we know who we are, what we want and what we deserve and we’re not willing to go back to selling ourselves short again. We’re not willing to repeat the same vicious cycle of handing out our hearts to those who don’t know how to catch them. The truth is we reach a point where our self love trumps any other love. We choose ourselves even when people don’t choose us.

Some more about my boring life
Hello again, for those of you who read my first story and are, for some strange reason, interested in hearing more about my lame life. There isn't much more to tell, but I can partake in writing about multiple stories and thoughts I've had. Of course, I hope you're thinking about the typical, "late night shower thoughts", because those are pretty good. I don't have many of those, I mostly just watch videos of them and proceed to watch my own jaw drop while I realize those things are crazy, but true. Most of the time, though, I hope to write about wise and logical things that people will actually want to read instead of the garbage of thoughts I actually have.

On Your Mark??
Greetings My Awesomesauce Friends, May I begin with a moment of frustration? As I sit to write this, I have found myself a tad bit tired. Truthfully I just can’t anymore. I can’t with the, 😳MG can you believe how fast this year has flown rhetoric. So if you would allow me, I’d like to just chuck on by the thought that I just wrote you yesterday, November One, and now Its the 28th. No No No.. I will just move on with what I believe to be exciting news.
