Generation Bloomer
Why is a 22-year-old writing about the importance of positive ageing representation in social media, you may ask? At the time of writing, we are in the middle of a pandemic, a pandemic which is disproportionately affecting older people. With sombre statistics and bleak prospects overwhelming all media outlets, it is extremely difficult for anyone, let alone the older generation, to see the positive side to ageing at a time full of such uncertainty. Isolated at home, vulnerable and frightened, remaining in good spirits during this time is far from easy.

Stephanie DailyPublished 4 years ago in LongevityHow to Sew a Cloth Face Mask
WARNING: Cloth face masks are only supposed to be used as a second choice after traditional medical face masks. While cloth face masks are better than no face mask at all, they are still an inferior choice to medical masks. Please be aware that cloth face masks will not protect you as much as traditional face masks and only use cloth masks in the event that we run out traditional face masks.

Why Ditching Your Old Spring Mattress is the Best Choice for Your Body
Our bodies deserve to be treated with respect. As a yoga and dance teacher, I see the importance of taking care of our bodies every day. Whether it’s low impact, high impact, dance cardio, boxing, yoga, goat yoga, rock climbing, goat rock climbing (just kidding, I’m sure the line has been drawn at goat rock climbing, but you get the gist), there’s a movement class for every body. So, why is it so hard for us to take care of our bodies when it matters most? We spend ⅓ of our lives sleeping, so let’s take a minute and really think about our sleep quality and how seriously we’re taking it.

There's a new trend on the horizon, and this one's a keeper! Many of us are beginning to take sustainability and natural health more seriously in our daily routines. The Morning Routines of Successful People
There are two types of people in the world: the risers, who hit the ground running at the first whisper of their alarm clock, and the snoozers, who prefer to hit their favorite button a few times as they slowly wind themselves up for the day. I am a riser. I always have been. For me, mornings are delightful, the rising sun a source of boundless energy and optimism. My boyfriend on the other hand is a maximum snoozer. He has a tendency to delay the inevitable moment of awakening to the last possible moment, working his alarm to the point of exhaustion, when the whispers become shrieks so loud that I wonder if he is the only one in the neighborhood left to acknowledge them. I often give him a hard time for this lifestyle choice he seems so attached to but, if I’m being honest, mornings can actually be a struggle for me too, albeit in a different way.

María López RamosPublished 4 years ago in LongevityThe Mystery of Observation
As we all know, each human being has the ability to sense certain aspects of their surroundings. We see colors and figures, we hear sounds and music, we smell, we taste, we touch.. Yet neuroscientists were able to prove that some people have a condition that mixes up the whole sensory system. Smelling colors, seeing sounds.. How is it possible? How can these beings sense things that we shouldn’t be able to sense?
