10 Signs You're His Side Piece
Cheating is not something anyone wants to deal with when they're in a relationship. Unfortunately, cheating is as old as humanity itself, and it's also extremely prevalent in today's dating scene. Studies suggest that around half of all couples will experience infidelity of one kind or another during their relationships.

The Chase or The Kill
Men can be very different kinds of animals when it comes to love. The chase is a thrill. Other animals love their kill, probably the chase as well, but for sure the kill. You don't see the lion chasing a fox, then go home to his pack, and be like, yeah, I needed some legwork today. No! I was in a relationship for a short time, where my partner, I believe, was only there for the chase. If you don’t understand what the chase is, it’s when a person pursues someone romantically, with the intention of being that person’s boyfriend or girlfriend. That’s my definition of it anyways. I know some men out there that just like the chase, and when the person they were chasing finally agrees to going out with them, they become ghosts. Yep! Puff! Gone with the wind. They become unavailable, like they weren’t the ones sweet talking you, and buying you all these nice things just a week ago. Because that’s how fast they can get over you. My question is, but why? And you might ask yourself, did I suddenly become unattractive, did I do something wrong, did I, did I, did I. You need to understand that in that situation, it really has nothing to do with you, except for the fact that you said yes to them.

11 Signs He Doesn't Respect You
If there's one thing I really, truly regret, it's dealing with so many men who didn't respect me at all back when I was in my teens and 20s. It's a mistake that I honestly wish I could take back—and one of the very few regrets I have in my life.

11 Signs You Might Be a Placeholder
I remember the first time I realized that my now-ex was using me as a placeholder. I thought we had a perfect relationship. We were young. We were attractive. We had nights filled with laughter, adventures, and lovemaking galore.

Is It the Distance or Is It Not Love?
This is a well-talked about topic, so it's probably familiar to you. Long distance relationships; can I do it, can I not. I believe a lot of people would say they can’t, and wouldn’t be in a long-distance relationship. I also believe those same people would find it hard to decide when the time comes, because as we all know it’s easier said than done. But I strongly believe nobody wants to be in a long-distance relationship when you're in love with someone. It's almost like not having a part of you with you, but we all know that thing called LIFE! She just does what she wants to do, I think life’s a she, because, you know, mother Nature, my mother land, there are so many things we attribute the pronoun "she" to, so yeah, I think life’s a “she,” but I digress. We don’t plan for the distance, things come up, like work, family, school, and so much more. These things cause us to re-evaluate our life and relationships, so I think there are 3 possible outcomes when you’re thinking about your significant other. One, you leave with them, two, you leave without them, three, you stay with them, and not leave at all. Ha! But we all know it can be more complicated than that, sometimes we don’t even have options, life deals you the card, and tells you where to play it, whether you like it or not.

Tip Your Waitress
Well shit. I feel like shit. Pretty much the only time I write is when something is going wrong. Jobs aren’t for the weak. You get paid less than adequate to be abused by coworkers, managers, and customers; quite the four-way. I don’t want to be here. At this place where you are supposed to be chipper and if u aren’t then you don’t have the true spirit of the company. Why is it that when you encounter this your direct manager is a douche? Like you order a black T-shirt with the words “no regrets” bedazzled on the front and then the package you receive is a plain white T. You’ve been ripped off, they hid you from the shitty low brow managers and led you astray with the siren call and the smoke and mirrors of the upbeat managers you think you’re getting every day. Why not quit? Well. Becca, I’ll tell you; not everyone is lucky enough to have much choice in employment. Places tend to wipe their ass with your degree and push the rest of the selection process on looks and how white your name sounds.

10 Signs He's Not Your Soulmate
The idea of finding your special soulmate is something that is seriously romanticized, and to a point, is also fantasized about by most people. There's this magical idea that there's someone for everyone, and if you listen to all the rom-coms, you'll "just know" he's the one.

How to Handle Rejection like a Pro
If there's one person who knows rejection, it's me. I was a reject from the day I was born. I was told by just about everyone who I've ever met that I wasn't what they wanted. It didn't matter if it was for a job, a relationship, or a friendship. I just attract rejection like honey attracts flies.

I Thought He Was My First Love
The rate of teenage pregnancy was consistently rising during my years in high school and it was frightening to me. As I entered junior high and high school, I was an active introvert to keep boys from showing too much interest in me. I had witnessed a few classmates coming to school with symptoms that I didn’t realize were those of pregnancy because I was in no way interested in having sex. Besides attending junior high and high school with pregnant classmates, my mom always made us watch educational programs on PBS which would document the issues faced by teenage girls, teenage boys, and teenagers, as a whole.
