The 'What If' Game
It was a love affair that never happened. A relationship that didn’t go anywhere at all. I’ve played the ‘What If Game’ a lot the past few days. It never makes a difference, of course, it’s just myself trying to reason with decisions we’ve already made. The choice was already made for us. What if… what if I wasn’t leaving in a month, would we be together? What if I wasn’t leaving at all… would we have a relationship, a real one and what if I didn’t want that, what if I did? What separates men from males in romantic relationships is the fact that there must be a level of spine and testicular fortitude to match the woman’s femininity. Crossing That Bridge... Maybe Not
Let’s start with some background: We dated off and on for over three years. Lived together, then didn’t, then did and then didn’t... you see the pattern here. And you might be thinking why? Well, to start, I’m 10 years his senior, and was going through my divorce when I met him. I’m also a mom, and he has no children. When we met, I was with my son at the time, and so he had the full picture from the start. I can honestly say I was flattered when he gave me his number but didn’t expect much to come from it. I was 38 and he was turning 28 in about a month. So you can see why I didn’t expect it to last as long as it did. He was charming, omg was he charming. Things were great.

10 Signs You're Affair Ready
Contrary to what some may say, affairs never "just happen." There is never an affair where the cheating partner doesn't mean to have it happen. There's a point where they say that one time won't hurt—or where they actively decide to seek out a side piece.

This Is Why Men Cheat Right Before Relationship Milestones
Cassius really seemed like the wholesome type of guy women settle down with. He was gainfully employed, handsome as could be, and also had a personality that brightened up a room. So, when he started talking to me, I was pretty friggin' happy.
