A Playlist to Read to
If you’re like me, you’re one of those special weirdos who can read a book and listen to music as the same time. Having music playing in the background of life relieves stress and can actually help people who have busier minds stay focused. For people who enjoy reading but sometimes can’t stay focused, playing quiet, non-distracting music can help you stay in your story while still creating a great ambiance for literary relaxation.

The 'List: Aretha Franklin (1942–2018)
Hello, one and all. As I sadly remind myself, our gods and idols are mere mortals in the end. We've lost our fair share of many, but, just today (as this fan had written this spur-of-the-moment eulogy when the announcement was official), my heart sank like a stone when one of our musical goddesses finally joined the invisible heavenly choir. She truly earned the title of the Queen of Soul.

Late Night Playlist
1. "Lovely" - Brent Faiyaz "Lovely" is the first track off of the album A.M. Paradox by Brent Faiyaz. The song talks about almost falling in love in the club and gives off the perfect late night vibe. It starts off with soft and deep sounding vocals in the beginning, then mixes with a beat making you feel like you are in the club yourself. This entire five-track album does a great job of portraying the late night aesthetic Faiyaz seems to have, so I suggest listening to each track.

Songs to Introduce to Someone Who Doesn't Like Country Music
If you have a friend that loves pop and wants to get into country, Kelsea Ballerini is your girl to go to. This song leans more on the pop side of the genre and it's such a jam. Kelsea also has songs that are closer to the roots of country. If you need a song to boost your confidence, this is definitely the song to play.

The Best Artists to Calm You Down. Top Story - July 2018.
Music is amazing, isn’t it? It can be sexy, angry, emotive, calming… It can make you feel all types of way. Make you relate to the artist, bring you back to certain times in your life, make you remember (sometimes fondly and sometimes not) certain people.
