Hey! My name is Devin. I'm 22 years old. I like writing realistic fiction, fantasy fiction, and fiction genre all in the first person perspective so my work will mostly be that. hope you guys like my content!! :)
League of Assassins
It's a stormy night. The traffic in this part of town is light. There isn't many people out tonight, which is common. I'm sitting at the bus stop, watching the cars and people go by. The rain coming down hard makes this night peaceful. It would be more peaceful if I wasn't on a job tonight. What I've noticed recently is that contracts are more of a nuisance when it's more people during the day, or night depending on when you get your contract. At least that's how it seems for me. I check my phone for the time. 9:45 is what it says. I get a text from an unknown number. "Koffi Bean in 5" is what it read. I get up from the bus stop bench and make my way to the destination.
The Ghost I'm Not
I started roaming the hospital in my wheelchair, looking for Ariannah. What my doctor told me made sense. It was still rude for me to come off really aggro towards her, even though I have no memory of spending time with her. Personally, I think this girl is crazy and delusional for even saying that we've spent time together. Because again, I'm a 3 on a good day and she's a solid 10. There's no way in hell that a girl like her is gonna go for a guy like me. But despite all of that, I still have to make amends with Ariannah.
The Ghost I'm Not
I open my eyes. My little sister is holding my hand. I look around and I see my mom, my older brother, and my older sister sitting behind my little sister. I was in shock. I didn't expect anyone to be here, waiting for me to wake up. I wasn't happy, nor was I excited. My feelings of them being here are completely mixed. I noticed that I couldn't move my legs.
A smile Unnoticed
I have a story for you. You'll probably learn something, so please, pay attention. This story is about a guy. His name is Jay. Jay is well known as a great person who's always in a great mood. Whenever and wherever you see him, he's smiling. The people around him smiles as well. Whether it's friends, family, or just random people, he gets everyone smiling and in a wonderful mood. If Jay says "hi" or "hey" you better believe everyone in that area is gonna go from a bad mood into a great mood in an instant. Everyone relied on him to enlighten the mood. Everyone loved him for that.
It was a rainy Saturday night. I was sitting in the car, arguing with my girlfriend, Layla. It was another pointless argument, Layla claiming that I'm cheating and I'm making counterclaims that she's cheating. Of the 5 years we've been together, I've never cheated on her. She started making these accusations about a week ago, the one time I came home later than usual. Now, these accusations are becoming worse. My gut told me that she was cheating, but I didn't have anything to back it up with. Layla never changed her habits, not even in the slightest. She still cared for me like I'd do for her. We were going back and forth for hours.
West Dalton Lake
So! You've read "Lake of West Dalton" and you've got questions. Well sit back and relax! I'll explain everything behind what you just read and all the gaps that probably left you puzzled. If you haven't read it yet, you can still pop a squat and read this Lore. You'll just be understanding the situation and the concept of the story beforehand.
Ghost I'm Not (Short 1-8)
It's been a year since I've been out of my coma. Things have for sure been changing since then. I no longer feel alone or feel like there's nobody there for me. And I have Ariannah to thank for that. When I came out of my coma, she never left my side and helped me conquer my difficult problems. Even when my spirit was in the astral plane for four years of my coma, she gave help when she was at her lowest. As for Darien, he'll always be my closest friend. He was going through his own things at the time I met him. I just wish that I realized it sooner to give a helping hand. I met both of them at 18 years old.
Lake of West Dalton
West Dalton lake is cursed. When Parker went missing, nobody wanted to believe it. And then Tyson disappeared not too long after that. But this time, we all watched him get taken away by something inside of the lake. Neither of us saw what snatched Tyson away, it just happened too fast. We couldn't understand what just happened and how it happened. I'll bring it back to how things even started.
Sex with my roommate pt. 1
This is a story of how someone who's been completely off limits, became a secret sex partner. It was a normal Saturday night. Around this time, my roommate, Kira is normally out with her girlfriend, Maya. This Saturday night wasn't the case. The other night, they both got into an argument concerning the fact that I was Kira's roommate, a guy. Maya thinks that Kira will "fall in lust" after seeing me with my shirt off. But Maya doesn't know that Kira is always seeing me with my shirt off in here. And I'm just a skinny guy with a little gut, so my body isn't all that good looking. I'm never sure on what exactly goes on in Kira's mind but I highly doubt that she's lusting over me in private. And as far as my knowledge goes, Kira is 100% lesbian.
I've been single for years now, and have no need to do anything involving valentines day. Most people think that it's sad or even crazy for a guy like me to be single, or even not to celebrate valentines day. Shoot, people even think I'm always lonely and junk. In all reality, I'm honestly not even remotely lonely. I just treat valentine's day like my every day life; just chill and listen to music. But for valentines day, I switch up my playlist for music.
My Depression As A Teenager
Mentally, I had it rough as a teenager. At home, nobody wanted to listen to me. At school, I felt like I never had any true friends. I felt alone. I felt unappreciated. And I had to walk around everywhere feeling like I'm a piece of shit for a person and needed to leave the earth for good.
