My name is Nathan Miller and I am a fan of writing in all forms from screenwriting to writing short stories to nonfiction pieces about the things that I love. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as I enjoyed writing them.
The Green Light
It’s over, it’s all over now. I wish I hadn’t seen it coming but I knew all about it. I still remember reading every message she sent him and hearing every conversation she had. I knew about her, the guy she was with, and how everyone just thought about how gullible I was. I’m just some gullible idiot without a care in the fucking world. But if they really think that I would just let it all happen, maybe they’re the gullible ones. I was ready to just give up and I didn’t really matter to any of them. But it’s all over now, from the moment I saw the green light to now, I had grown to realize that my life never had to be like this and now, it will never will.
Bull in a China Shop
It became too much for Juan to bear. For years, he was known as one of the biggest matadors around. But it all changed that one fateful day. It was the day that he lost his rival. Together they fought bulls while trying to outdo each other in the public eye. But their friendship was far greater than what their fans or even they had realized. They didn’t seem to notice it, but they needed each other. Without his rival, the job had lost its touch. How can you show that you’re the best if there isn’t someone there to challenge that?
The Burning Start of Mary Gold
Bet she never knew it would come to this. Sitting alone, drinking scotch out of a bottle, and thinking about how it all went wrong. The only thing that gave her company was that fucking flower. A marigold flower in a vase was given to her by her dad, as it was all that was left of him. She was named after it since as a gardener, he always admired their beauty. They represented such hope and passion, just like the early days of her career. But now, the flower sits as dead as any of her dreams for success. Though, you may be wondering how it got to this point. Well, let me tell you this, every good story starts at the beginning.
The Queen of Cakes
It was many years back in the land of France. Queen Marie ruled with a heavy heart and the mind of a true narcissist. But she always had desired more, mostly the finest desserts that only the world’s greatest culinary minds could serve her. However, each of these heads were soon disconnected from the rest of their bodies as they had failed to please her royal highness. From the most delectable vanilla cookies to the most beautiful strawberry bowls of ice cream, all expensive, all gorgeous, but all failures in the queen’s mind. But the one dessert that nobody could afford to serve her, her prime desire, chocolate cake from the rarest and amazing cocoa beans on the planet.
'Survivor: Winners At War' Episode 13
Wow! What an amazing episode of Survivor tonight! First off, nice move blindsiding Kim. That was a brilliant move and Tony managed to pull it off. But now, Michele's scared. So, she chats with Jeremy who listens and understands her concern, even giving her back her 50/50 advantage, since he doesn't want his own game to be determined by it. So now, Michele & Jeremy are back on good terms, hopefully. Meanwhile. Denise is a little stressed, but she felt done with how she's been for a while. So, she wrote on a wood board a message for herself or "tattoos". Endure and Let Go. Endure the situation and let go of the stress, pretty much. Then, Cops R Us reminisces on old times. 6 years since they got together in Cagayan. Tony won once, Sarah won once. Now, this season should be the tiebreaker season as their plan is for them and Ben to get to the final 3 together. But, there's something else that could trouble them. Ben wants Jeremy gone, badly. And he won't budge. And that is bad, since if they take out Jeremy then Denise, Michele & Nick could team up and all they'd need is Ben to make it 4 and take out Sarah & Tony. And Ben can be sketchy at times.

Wow! What an amazing episode of Survivor tonight! First off, nice move Tony! You killed it last time! Your work last week was one of the best episodes I've ever seen. Well done. But now, he's a bigger target. And his allies are pissed. Like, Sarah wants to kill him and Ben wants Jeremy gone so he's mad at Tony for not letting him do that. But hopefully, Tony can turn it around. He's back to old Tony, hopefully it doesn't bite him in the ass. Maybe his spy nest and his telling his allies about his idol plan could work. Especially the spy nest, I love the spy nest LOL. And Kim is targeting him and everyone seems to go for it. So, the current war is Kim vs. Tony and this war is on. Kim's gaining allies to go against King Tony but Tony has his own bag of tricks. It'll be interesting to see who wins this battle of two of Survivor's most dominant winners, Kim Spradlin vs Tony Vlachos.
'Survivor: Winners At War' Episode 11
Wow! What an epic episode of Survivor tonight! First off, nice job taking out Tyson. Jeremy definitely saved himself. Though now, he's likely screwed now, he's in an alliance of 4 that is against an alliance of 5 and he just made a big move while already being a huge threat. So, he's gotta find something. And now, Tony is finally ready to play all out. He's back to old Tony from Cagayan & Game Changers. He waits til everyone's asleep and he goes on an idol hunt and even despite Nick showing up for a moment, he maneuvers the situation and manages to get an idol! But there's more, Sarah brings out her own fashion show, emphasizing that while Tony plays hard strategically, Sarah is better socially. Meanwhile, Tony decides to keep playing hard and going for a double agent type idea. He speaks with Jeremy and his alliance, talking about working with them and Jeremy and Michele buy it, easily. But Kim & Denise don't. They see right through it and now, Tony is their target #1.
'Survivor: Winners At War' Episode 10
First off, good choice voting out Adam. Good move. And immediately for this episode, starts off LOVED ONES VISIT. But wait, there's so much more than just your average loved ones' visit. That is because the castaways don't get just one loved one. But their entire families got flown in to see them by Fiji Airways. Tony, his wife and kids. Ben, his wife & kids. Sarah, her partner and son. Tyson, his wife and one of his kids. Sophie and her fiancee. Michele and her sister. Nick and his wife. Jeremy and his wife and kids. Kim and her husband and kids. And Denise and her husband and daughter. Wow, entire families have arrived. This is historic. And speaking of historic moments, there's also EVEN MORE.
Survivor: Winners At War Episode 9
Wow! What an amazing episode of Survivor tonight! First off, great work blindsiding Wendell, that was a great move. Though, naturally, Nick & Michele were pissed. Nick is officially out for blood and while Michele wanted Wendell gone, she hated being left out. Though, Tony lets Nick & Michele know not to let it get to them, since anger will put people off. But, this could be good for Adam, who uses Michele's anger to maybe gain her trust. He lets her in on the possibility that inside Jeff's podium at Tribal Council could be an idol. He sees something similar enough on the podium to Denise's hidden immunity idol. So, it could be or not be.
'Survivor: Winners At War' Episode 8
Holy crap! What an amazing episode of Survivor tonight! First off, poor Yul. I was really rooting for him. But, it's ok. Plus, somebody will re-enter the game this time. Amber gave Rob all her tokens for an advantage and an idol, Natalie used her tokens for an advantage and an idol, Ethan, Danni & Tyson also bought advantages in the challenge. But not Amber, Parvati or Yul. And then, the challenge. Well, first MERGE! All together. Then, the challenge. The hardcore battle between the 8 who just want to get back in the game. And it's even for the most part. But, Tyson, Rob & Natalie run it. With others catching up and getting close to winning, especially Yul, despite having no advantage. It's a close battle but ultimately, Tyson wins and gets back in.
'Survivor: Winners At War' Episode 7
Well, quite a fantastic episode of Survivor tonight! Starts off with the Edge, Parvati & Sandra arrive. But, here's the thing. Sandra, the queen of Survivor knows she sucks at challenges. Heck, she has the sit out bench named after her. So, no doubt in her mind, she's pulling the flag and going home. She figures, why stay if she can never win a challenge? So, goodbye Sandra Diaz-Twine, the queen stays queen, adios, you legend. You may be out, but that doesn't change that you're the queen. Then at Sele, Yul spoke with Wendell, explaining how Wendell's actions were very poorly done and how he caused chaos when he didn't even need to. Wendell thanked him and appreciated his honesty. Though, the next day, Michele spoke with him about it and he was more aggressive in terms of his speech about it. Yet, she even gave him a token to confirm her trust afterwards but, something's off with Wendell. Yeah, he may have dug his own grave.
