'Survivor: Winners At War' Episode 8
Holy crap! What an amazing episode of Survivor tonight! First off, poor Yul. I was really rooting for him. But, it's ok. Plus, somebody will re-enter the game this time. Amber gave Rob all her tokens for an advantage and an idol, Natalie used her tokens for an advantage and an idol, Ethan, Danni & Tyson also bought advantages in the challenge. But not Amber, Parvati or Yul. And then, the challenge. Well, first MERGE! All together. Then, the challenge. The hardcore battle between the 8 who just want to get back in the game. And it's even for the most part. But, Tyson, Rob & Natalie run it. With others catching up and getting close to winning, especially Yul, despite having no advantage. It's a close battle but ultimately, Tyson wins and gets back in.

'Survivor: Winners At War' Episode 7
Well, quite a fantastic episode of Survivor tonight! Starts off with the Edge, Parvati & Sandra arrive. But, here's the thing. Sandra, the queen of Survivor knows she sucks at challenges. Heck, she has the sit out bench named after her. So, no doubt in her mind, she's pulling the flag and going home. She figures, why stay if she can never win a challenge? So, goodbye Sandra Diaz-Twine, the queen stays queen, adios, you legend. You may be out, but that doesn't change that you're the queen. Then at Sele, Yul spoke with Wendell, explaining how Wendell's actions were very poorly done and how he caused chaos when he didn't even need to. Wendell thanked him and appreciated his honesty. Though, the next day, Michele spoke with him about it and he was more aggressive in terms of his speech about it. Yet, she even gave him a token to confirm her trust afterwards but, something's off with Wendell. Yeah, he may have dug his own grave.

'Survivor: Winners at War' Episode 6
Wow! What an amazing episode of Survivor tonight! First off, nice choice to the new Yara tribe. Taking out Boston Rob was absolutely the right move. He's a brilliant player, but he should've known that with returning winners, the "buddy system" is less likely to work as effectively, only adds negativity and hatred, as was shown when everyone voted him out. And now, Sophie & Sarah are running the show. And, seems Ben really wants to get with them while Adam, maybe a little left out, but, maybe not, who knows? Meanwhile at the Edge, The original power couple of Rob & Amber are reunited and now, a game of finding the advantage to sell. Everyone's gonna search to see if they can get their next fire token. They looked and looked, but ultimately, through some trickery and sneakiness, Tyson found an idol nullifier that he had to sell to someone and he sold it to someone that he figured would buy it, Parvati, and she did. And how did Tyson celebrate his one fire token? Buying and hiding some peanut butter from everyone to enjoy during his time on the Edge. Sneaky work, Tyson. But, more food than your compatriets will get and maybe, just maybe, it'll be enough calories to boost up your chances of winning that future challenge to get you back in the game.

'Survivor: Winners At War' Episode 5
Well, with all of this worrying about coronavirus, at least I still have one thing that keeps me happy, Survivor. And boy, what a great episode of this amazing season. First off, good work to Dakal on taking out Tyson. And now, Nick is a little more rich for it. But, with happiness somewhere, there's sadness somewhere else. While chatting with his tribemates, Yul remembers one of his tribemates from his original season, his buddy, Jonathan Penner. The thing with him now, is Penner's wife, Stacy has ALS. She can't move except for her eyes and there's no known cure. So, I really feel for them. We watch Survivor but people like Stacy are true Survivors. So, hopefully there'll one day be a cure and Stacy can move and be happy once again with her husband, Jonathan by her side.

Goodbye, Kobe
On January 26, 2020, the world was really shaken up. My world was really shaken up. Kobe Bryant, a legendary NBA player, his daughter, Gianna and 7 others were tragically killed in a helicopter crash. I know, it seems like it's been so long already, but to me, I just can't keep my mind off of it. I grew up loving the Los Angeles Lakers, especially Kobe. How he played, what he and the Lakers represented, he was one of my heroes. I even went to a Lakers game for my 18th birthday. He wasn't there but his spirit certainly was. I could feel the Lakers energy in the room, even if Kobe wasn't playing that night. So, when the crash happened, something inside of me broke.

'Survivor: Winners at War' Episode 4
Wow! What an incredible episode of Survivor tonight! First off, nice move to the 4 who blindsided Ethan. As sad it was, it was a brilliant move. And Adam, you have a lot of work to do, man. You definitely screwed up by telling Rob. As for Dakal, it's nice to celebrate the small things. Yul's right on point about that. Dakal is thriving, eating well and they made it a quarter through the game with 9 members still in tact. That's worth celebrating. And the Edge. The difficult task of moving 20 logs, one log at a time from the top of the hill to the camp, finished by sundown. Those four pushed through and did it. Natalie rocked it, Danni & Amber fought in second and Ethan, poor guy. He pushed himself to nearly fainting. Dude, I get you're a pro at this but it's okay to stop and breathe. I know you're a competitor but, calm down. Us fans would rather have you lose a fire token than have you lose your spot in the game due to a medevac. But, after medical did convince him, he took his breaks and he pulled it off, with Danni, Amber & Natalie all with him for support. Great job, Ethan. You beat cancer, you can beat the Edge of Extinction.

'Survivor: Winners at War' Episode 3
So, wow. What a great episode tonight! First off, it was probably the best move to take out Danni. But, it's still Survivor, there's still more to come. For instance, Rob woke up Adam with a leaf and then, Adam started talking his way into taking out Parvati, hoping to get closer to Ethan & Rob without having that worry of Parvati always being above him in terms of trust with Rob & Ethan. And the new schoolers seemed into it. But, Ben wants Rob out, but he seems OK with the Parv vote. However, Adam then decided to tell Ethan, hoping to not blindside him with the Parvati vote. The issue is, he knows that Parvati is pretty much his #1 in the game. So, Ethan will likely let his ally know that Adam is after her.

Survivor: Winners at War Episode 2
aHoly crap! What an episode. So far, really good. I love this season so far. First off, the Edge of Extinction. Amber is with Natalie there, two good winners, both stuck after being voted out, waiting to get back in. Meanwhile at Sele, Rob gets the fire token, so he figures out very quickly what probably happened. His wife got the boot and now he has to step up his game even more. Meanwhile, Ben helped Denise find an idol, building their alliance together. But, the idol has a bit of a twist. It has two halves and Denise must give half to another person. What made Ben more trustworthy to Denise is he didn't ask for it, he suggested getting someone in with them using the idol. So, Denise went back to her ally, Adam, who was ecstatic, until he found out that Ben was in on it. And then, Denise considered giving the other half to Parvati, who definitely would not be a trustworthy suggestion. But overall, Adam got the other half successfully.

Survivor: Island of the Idols Finale & Reunion
Well, this has been an insane season with a lot that went on, so let's see how it ends, shall we? So, we start with Rob & Sandra. They chat with each other about the whole Survivor experience, such as Rob finding love on Survivor back in Survivor: All-Stars, Sandra just happy to get the money and how it was this time around, teaching the game to these newbies rather than competing against them. Then, a boat arrives at Lumuwaku. The final five are told to grab their belongings and head on the boat. So they go, and they meet Rob & Sandra who gave them a short but sweet speech about the game, making it to the final five and how the game is going to be from here. They then said their goodbyes and left the final five at their new home at the Island of the Idols with a fully built shelter, many fruits and chickens and some new special buffs for the end to take home with them. But, what they didn't tell as they left was that there was still one last test remaining. Tommy figured something was up and everything was too perfect to be true, so he looked, found the clues on the buff, the red coconut insides and the red block of wood, all while despite being color blind. Good job, Tommy. But, his mistake was telling Dean who pretended to be lazy but in all actuality, he faked it to look for the clues on his own and through some searching, he found the idol and completed the final test that Tommy could not, making him even more powerful in the game.

'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Episode 12
Wow! What a great episode of Survivor tonight! First off, nice move taking out Karishma. Could've easily been Noura, but that's ok. Noura seems likely to be next to go by most people anyway considering how Dean destroyed her game. But, as revenge, Noura hid his shoes on top of the flag to signify that he could be next to go. The next morning, an idol hunt began. Dean and Elaine got up to search, knowing that they were big targets, possibly on their way out without the idol. But, Janet & Tommy also went looking and then, it happened. Janet found the idol, nice job Janet! So now, she & Tommy are in possession of it. But, Dean & Elaine caught them, so now they know that Janet has the idol.

'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Episode 11
Wow! What an amazing episode of Survivor tonight! First off, nice job getting Elizabeth out and Karishma playing that idol, nice move. Also, nice way to start off an episode. Loved Ones Challenge. A truly iconic part of Survivor. We got to see each of the remaining castaways reunite with their loved ones in passionate, beautiful and tear filled reunions. Elaine and her girlfriend, Dean and his mom, Karishma and her husband, Janet and her husband, Noura and her sister, Tommy and his girlfriend, Lauren and her husband and Dan and his 13 year old son. All of these were wonderful moments to witness. Then, the challenge. The tribe divided into pairs to get through a small course and toss a bag onto a stand. And Jeff, being as kind as he is, knew how Noura's sister was visually impaired, so he let her go with him to watch the challenge with him, moving around so she can actually watch. Nice job, Jeff. Such a great human being. This and many other reasons are why Jeff is the best host ever. The pairs were Tommy & Janet, Dan & Noura, Dean & Elaine and Lauren & Karishma. And Noura's sister was even. It was a close fight but in the end, Tommy & Janet won time with their loved ones and they invited Dan & Lauren to join them on the reward. Obviously, Karishma wasn't happy. None of the people who weren't chosen were happy to not be picked.
