Cosplayer Spotlight: Wesley Jermaine Thompson
Greetings, Vocal readers. I'm back with another cosplayer interview. I love interviewing different cosplayers and getting to know more about them. Between the summer of 2018 and now, I've interviewed over two dozen cosplayers. Cosplayers from other countries to here in the United States, every one of them were amazing. The next cosplayer that I got to interview recently is Wesley Jermaine Thompson, a Steam/Dieselpunk cosplayer from Florida. Before I get started, I want to remind everyone that if you like any of my articles, including the cosplayers I interviewed earlier this year, please feel free to send me a one-off tip, which is located at the end of every article. No tip is ever too big or small, because it helps me and other Vocal creators write better stories. Also, be sure to join Vocal+, a premium membership with new features and benefits. As I've stated in my last article, I'll have more cosplayer interviews posted here on Vocal in the coming days, so please check them out, once they are posted. In the meantime, please enjoy my interview with Wesley.

Holidays Aren’t an Introvert’s Best Friend
The holidays: it’s supposed to be a joyous time to spend with family and friends. However, for an introvert like me, it’s easier said than done. With Thanksgiving around the corner and Christmas weeks away, my opinion about holidays in general have drastically changed over the years. What’s the point of celebrating them if you’re always alone and have no one to spend them with? I have a story to share with everyone and you’ll see why I don’t really get into them that much.

‘A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood’ Review
Hello, neighbor. The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here: my thoughts about A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. I’ll be sharing parts of the movie that stood out to me. Before I go any further, I want to remind everyone of a few things. The first is that if you love any articles I’ve written so far, please feel free to send me a one-off tip, which is at the end of every article. No tip is ever too big or small. It helps me and other Vocal creators write better stories. Also, in case you’re keeping count, this is the second movie I’m reviewing. I rarely review movies, but will do so if a trailer or trailers of an upcoming movie capture my attention. Last but not least, if you haven’t seen the movie yet, you might not want to read my review because it will have spoilers. So go ahead, see it, come back here, and then read my thoughts about it. As for everyone else who has already seen it, I hope you enjoy my review.

Captain Spidey: 1 Year Later
Greetings, Vocal readers. This article is for all the Spider-Man fans out there. On this day a year ago, the most amazing thing happened to me that it almost didn’t become a reality. I’m talking about one of my cosplays: Captain Spidey. On November 21, 2018, I got my very first Spider-Man suit from Zentaizone, which sells different kinds of suits, including Spider-Man suits. It took me a while to customize my suit and choose my measurements, such as the size of my waist, feet, and arms. Luckily, I got the hang of it and ordered it. I had to wait a few weeks for my suit to arrive. On the day it was supposed to arrive to me, there was a problem. It was sent to my old address as opposed to my new address. So I had to go to the leasing office of my old apartment complex and pick up my package. I opened my package and when I tell you, my eyes lit up. I couldn’t believe that I now owned a Spider-Man suit. I posted pics of it on my social media pages and did a live stream, receiving positive feedback.

Transgender Day of Remembrance
Today is a day of remembrance of transgender people who have lost their lives. Every year on November 20, Transgender Day of Remembrance is held for that purpose and also, it's because these crimes are not reported and often misgendered by the media. This day was first held on November 20, 1998, following the murder of Rita Hester, a black trans woman. Nearly two dozen transpeople have been murdered so far in 2019 and it's important that they deserve to be protected and free from discrimination. Unfortunately, there aren't many states that have protections for transgender people, which can pose a risk of them being murdered or taking their own lives. Here are some more shocking and disturbing stats about the killings of transgender people worldwide:

Facts About Non-Binary
For the last year or so, I’ve been running across different terms on social media and in articles such as nonbinary, genderfluid, and genderqueer. I’ve never understood what they meant, never heard of them before, and assumed that they were just fads. Most people would argue that there’s only two genders: male and female and there’s no such thing as nonbinary. Unfortunately for some of the skeptics out there, there’s more than two genders and nonbinary is a thing and also, it exists.

My Thoughts About the Word "Fanboy"
Greetings, Vocal readers. This week is very special to because my birthday is in a few days and I'm eager to enjoy my birthday week with friends and everyone on social media. Yes, I'm a Scorpio and love celebrating my birthday. With that being said, we’re all fans of something: a TV show, movie, or even a video game franchise. I’ve been hearing the word “fanboy” for the last several years and as I’ve gotten older, it’s a term that I personally dislike. Before I go any further, let me say a few things to everyone. I have no personal issue with what you choose to like and who you support. As long as it makes you happy and not hurting me, by all means, knock yourself out. I understand that you have your reasons of using the word fanboy, but for me, I prefer using the word “enthusiast,” rather than “fanboy” for a couple of reasons: I don’t live vicariously through famous people and they’re just regular people just like us. They don’t owe me anything, nor should I be entitled to have or receive anything from them. I love and support the stuff my favorite actors, actresses, voice actors, and so on that they’re in and that’s about it. If they do something unbecoming I don’t agree with, I’m going to call it out. I refuse to make any excuses for them, like most people do.

The Power of #MorphinMonday
It's Morphin Time! Greetings, Vocal readers. The month of November has arrived and it's also my birthday month. In fact, my birthday is coming up in about a week. So I'm looking forward to seeing another year. In this article, I'm talking about Power Rangers, specifically #MorphinMonday. This hashtag, which has well over 1,000 posts on Instagram, holds true to Power Rangers fans everywhere. About two months ago, I attended Arkansas Comic Con and Jason David Frank was one of the guests during that weekend. I was fortunate enough to not only do a photo op with him, but also shook his hand and said it was nice to meet him. Before attending this con, I've never met any Power Rangers star, but I did just that and knocked off an item from my bucket list. It was an exciting experience, because this was a guy that I grew up watching. In case you haven't seen my Arkansas Comic Con review and how my meeting with Jason David Frank went, I'll post a link to it at the end of this article so you can read it yourself. I'll be meeting David Yost, who played the Blue Ranger, at Galaxycon in Louisville, Kentucky two and a half weeks from now. I'll have my Legacy Blue Ranger figure with me for him to sign and going as Lord Gyaradrakkon.
