Part XXVII: Hot Summer Bods in Women's Sports & Fitness

The hottest series of the summer rolls on. Here is issue number 27 of the "Hot Summer Bods in Women's Sports & Fitness." This group includes women who are shining in sports, broadcasting and business. Oh and don't forget, they're college students as well.

Brenda Santana

A proud Dominican, Brenda Santana competes for University at Albany. Entering her third year, the bilingual beauty is making waves on her Instagram page and is the fifth person to be featured twice in this series. Her followers can see get looks at her as she competes as well as life off the course.

Santana had her best collegiate showings at the end of her freshman season in 2019. She placed second in the 4oo-meter relay at the Bobbi Palma UAlbany Spring Classic. She followed that with a runner-up finish in the 100-meter dash at the RPI Capital District Classic, the following week.

Madi Camporese

A student at Florida, Madi Camporese is finding her way in journalism both as a writer and broadcaster. The former high school hooper has write-ups about everything from the NFL Draft, to collegiate gymnastics to the NBA and PGA.

She's done broadcasts on ESPN radio and was a guest on the ESPN College Gameday set. Don't be shocked if you turn on the Super Bowl, Olympics or World Series, later in the decade and see Madi Camporese reporting on the action.

Danyelle Williams

Entering her senior season, Danyelle Williams had some good moments during her 2019 campaign for Northwestern University. In a win over Rutgers, Williams posted a season best 10 kills in a win over Rutgers. She also scored 11.5 points that match which was her best mark of 2019. Her second best tally of 7.5 points came in the previous match in a win against Michigan State, where she also had four blocks.

In high school she was a star in volleyball and basketball. She is the daughter of Aaron Williams who won back-to-back Eastern Conference championships in 2002 and 2003 with the then New Jersey Nets during his days in the NBA.

Jorden Savoury

Prior to the stop of the 2020 season due to COVID-19, Jorden Savoury was building her resume on the track. The sophomore at McGill Collegiate stood out at the Middlebury Winterfell Indoor Meet. She took wins in the 60-meter dash, 200-meter dash and long jump. Her 1,600-meter relay squad placed second to round up her day in action.

Along with competing in track and field, Savoury also has a business as she specializes in tie dyeing tops and socks. Her work can be seen on the Instagram page: @jorden_tiedye.
