Trailblazing women with beauty inside & out

Part XVI: Hot Summer Bods in Women's Sports & Fitness
Shalome, Chrysten, Irene

It's the sweet 16 of "Hot Summer Bods in Women's Sports & Fitness." We bring you a trio of women who are in the process of being the best in the world at what they do. We're just so honored to be able to showcase ladies who show you that anything you set out to do can be attained. Yes they're as hot as the summer on the surface but the greatness inside of these women is a quality that helps to keep this planet an amazing place to live.

Chrysten Crockett

Chrysten Crockett is our second person to be featured twice in this series as she was shown in part one. She has a vast catelog of videos on IGTV that includes various types of workouts.

Her 10-minute workout series is an invaluable collection of videos that include workouts entitled "Full Body," "Core Burn," "Legs + Abs," "Leg + Booty Burn," "Dance Cardio," "High "Tempo Cardio," "Upper Body Burn" ... we can go on and on. For anyone who is currently charging you for workout videos that you might not be able to afford, we challenge you to go to @getfitwithchrys on Instagram and check out her IGTV. We're 100 percent confident that it will not let you down.

One of the coolest thing about Crockett, who has been featured on NBC's Today Show, is that she is a confident and articulate African American woman who embraces her natural beauty and lives to keep people smiling and healthy on a daily basis.

Irene Ekelund

Now 23, Irene Ekelund first made her mark on the world when she won the gold medal in the 200-meter dash at the World Under 18 Championships in 2013. The 16-year-old Swedish native finished with a time of 22.92 in Ukraine.

In 2014, at 17, she came to the United States and placed second in the World Under 20 Championships. Over her career she has won 12 combined national championships in Sweden in the 60 meters, 100 meters and 200 meters.

When the 2020 track and field season was halted due to COVID-19, Ekelund was ranked in the top 100 worldwide of the 200-meter dash. She was number one in her home country. This season she placed third in the 60-meter dash at the Swedish indoor championship meet.

Ekelund is a podcast co-host of "Inget Filter." She also models and her work can be seen by her 11,300 followers on Instagram.

Shalome Taylor

Described as a fitness and beauty motivator on her Instagram bio, Shalome Taylor's over 81,000 followers are inspired by her energetic and charasmatic force.

She boldly tells her followers "It don't matter what it is in this world, if you got the right confidence level about you, you can get whatever you want. Now when you start questioning yourself ... you're already going downhill when you say shit like that. You've got to walk that walk. Talk that talk, keep your head held high. Keep a nice pretty smile on your face and you can get whatever you want. That's just the most attractive thing in the world.

Followers can check out her beautiful photos and get a look at her workout routine in both her feed and highlights. She also has an eventful IGTV video collection.
