2 Good Indian Buffets in South Jersey

2 Good Indian Buffets in South Jersey

Not that I'm a fan of buffets, but I stumbled across one one day that left me quite a pleasant surprise. I knew I liked curry but I didn't know all the different ways I would like it, and this place proved to me that I could have it any way I want. Not getting beside myself, but the way these curry-like dishes tasted left me speechless. There were so many different flavors like tomato, coconut vegetable, and creamy spinach. Best of all, they had them right next to each other with their native names out front so you know what to look for when you go back or elsewhere. No, best of all was the price. You could get all this for less than $14 at the lunch hour with the drink included. Desserts were a taste too but I'm not a huge fan of pudding. I did go for the milk and cheese balls dipped in syrup at Palace of Asia in Maple Shade though. It's called Gulab Jamun, and it tasted heavenly. The first restaurant I was referring to is Coriander, located in Voorhees, New Jersey. Both menus of these places complement each other and are worth checking out.

Snooze Sparkles with Delicious South Austin Creativity

Snooze Sparkles with Delicious South Austin Creativity

Brunch is a huge part of Austin's weekend diner culture, and the competition in this town is steep with so many brilliant culinary minds constantly crafting the next decadent morsel to appease hungry guests. I will admit that for a long time I missed brunch. No, I didn't miss it in as I pined longingly for it. I literally was sleeping through it on most weekend days, much to my dismay. While I am not one of those people who HAS to start their day with breakfast, my boyfriend is, and thus it became quite a challenge to find a quality place still serving a full breakfast menu at 2 pm that wasn't "fast food." However, recently we have begun to find ourselves awake on Saturdays at a normal morning hour and, to our delight, the world of brunch is now within our reach!

    Float On

    Float On

The fun, Hawaiian pineapple-themed restaurant started out as an idea. The idea then became a reality when the company opened a food truck. Shave ice was the first creation, but K felt she wanted to expand and do more. She traveled to Hawaii to investigate the exotic flavors and items Hawaii has to offer. They went to every shave ice in Hawaii and picked the best flavors. When they arrived home from their trip, they knew they wanted to be better than the other companies around. They got the best machines that actually shaves the ice instead of pieces. This adaptation to the process enhances the taste of the shave ice.

    Don’t Eat the Fuzzy Ones

    Don’t Eat the Fuzzy Ones

I swear that the first greens of the spring come like a green sigh of relief. After damn near five months of winter, they release like the forest has been holding its breath all that time. Some folks aren’t a fan. They haven’t gone out to find them (and then failed).
