Bio
I’ve always been a storyteller, I’d love to say I was a writer, but I can’t. If people were even reading this on the toilet. I’d be humbled.
I write short, but true stuff, I try to mix honesty with humour, because it’s the only way I know

Reasons To Be Cheerful
My Dad Andy, loved listening to Ian Dury, he used to drive me mental, when I was in my teens. He would start shuffling, little pigeon steps while singing Spasticus Articulus, while poking my arm, he still did it when I was in my forties, I miss him a lot. He loved all his songs, I play the CD in my van, it was my Dads copy. I blast Reasons to be Cheerful out, windows down. I can imagine I look like a Mid Life Crisis guy, In my Vauxhall Combo little white van.

Car Owner Virus
I collected the boy from his friends house, after school, and popped into the Sainsbury’s local supermarket, which after the panic buying, looked as if it had been pillaged by the Viking’s. I got home and drove around for a parking space, of which there were none. In one of the nearby streets, which were awash with spaces, there is an hour restriction between 7 - 8 pm, and as it was 7.30 pm and we were in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, I tried my luck and my old van came to a rest, and we wearily got out and headed indoors, to hear the Lockdown Latest from Boris.

A Blackfoot in Brighton
A Blackfoot in Brighton I'm not sure which came first, 'the flats' or Indian Dave, but I think perhaps they came as a package. What I remember is that they were both red and grey. The flats had a gloomy red ashen exterior and were a product of the Councils 1930s slum clearing, built on the same land, by the same slum tenants.
