The Rise of the Daeterra
Green webs of energy filtered across her vision as shadows appeared where no other eye could see. However, the shadow they were looking for was nowhere in sight. The shadow across from her sighed for what had to be the third time within the hour. They had come in together an hour before under the guise of "a romantic evening" and her "date" had excused himself with the story of an emergency at the office, before sneaking around back, exchanging the suit for his armor and gear, and returning undetected.

Rock, Roll, and Relax
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7rErvFJIOpn3RbQhGwoWtU?si=ed74c7d0cfa34e9e It’s become one of the most well-known cliches: “I’m different” or “I’m not like everyone else.” We tell everyone from a young age that “everybody is unique”. Well, if everyone is unique, then how can anyone claim “I’m different” and it hold any value?

Remember
This is inspired by the following prompt provided by David Denborough (Retelling the Stories of our Lives), shared on dreamerswriting.com: "Write yourself a letter...Include a message to yourself at the time you underwent trauma. What would you say to yourself if you had the chance?"

Solving the Mystery of "You"
So in February of 2020, I opened a Tiktok account, for the simple purpose of wanting to check out the hype and being around when it's predecessor Musical.ly was the rage. In May, I made one silly little video, and eventually I made more. After a while I got into Cosplay, and made lots of friends. I also met a lot of wonderful people who had different pronouns, including the neo-pronouns such as Fae/Faer.

Greed's Game
4 months, 4 victims. First a local middle school teacher, a painter, a city councilman. The youngest was number 4-Marsha Walker, off to college in the coming fall. All victims with nothing in common, no DNA or evidence left behind, and no suspects. All missing the first day of the month, all found dead in their homes the next day. Like clockwork.

Crunch Time
Though I never grew an intense interest in football (I was more into bowling XD), game day was a popular one. My father's parents had 3 boys-one rooting for the Cowboys, one for the Redskins, my father loyal to our own NY Jets. What I always found exciting was picking out the food for such an occasion! So, here's some of my must-haves and some of my no-goes for game day.

One Step at a Time
I have long outgrown the concept of New Year's Resolutions. I used to think they were a bizarre concept, that having goals should not be excluded to one select time of the beginning of a year, that you shouldn't feel ashamed if you don't accomplish some little promise you spit out into the universe by the next year. Some goals take time, and not everything is a "finish and move on" sort of thing.
