Angels in the Deep
Hello! So, Tuesday July 13th, my grandmother passed after a 6 or so month health battle, in her sleep. The next day when I caught sight of this Challenge on the Vocal site, and I immediately had the idea for this story, and knew this is what we were going with. The premise of this story is fictional. The only particularly real part is, of course, the main character's loss. Everything else is the fictional parts, but some is inspired by realistic elements that happened after my own loss. For example, it may not have been a shark, but the day she passed a beautiful bird came over and sat on the bush outside of our apartment for a few minutes. And I smiled at that bird and, with tears, said "look, she came back to say she's alright."

The Children of Alessandra
Centuries ago, in 1283, just after the formation of the Kingdom of Naples, a noble girl and her family had moved to the land from Sicily 2 years prior. In those two years, a certain man of similar status, Enzo Rossi, gave his heart to the young maiden, and yet for years she turned him down, claiming that she did not need his desire. Finally, he had a locket made special for her, commissioned a painting of her to be done small enough to fit inside, and presented it to her.

The Razer Beams pt 2: Battery's Downfall
Author's Note: Reminder, this work and it's predecessor, "Prisoners of the Desert" are loosely based off the album "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" by My Chemical Romance. Vague concepts (I.E Dracs/BLind, etc) belong to MCR. Specifics such as certain characters (I.E Radio Razer/Raena Thompson), story plot, and established timeline are my own. Thank you!

The Razer Beams pt 1: Prisoners of the Desert
Author's Note: This story and its successor "Battery's Downfall" are loosely based off of the concept of the album "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" by my Chemical Romance. With how little concrete material fans were given from the original source material, a lot of this pieced-together world of MCR's creation today is purely fan-speculation, hence "loosely based". While the overlining concept and specific names/persons/places (I.E, Draculoids/SCARECROWS, Exterminators, Battery City and BL/Ind) belong to My Chemical Romance, this entire story, specifically named characters (I.E my own OC's Radio Razer/Raena Thompson and Master Mayhem/Alex Bishop), and established timeline are my creation. Thank you!

Eggs in Baskets
In my eyes, as a child and now, I grew up with a rock star for a dad. To some people, having a parent that's a musician is kind of sketchy. Being a musician period is taboo because of some people's belief that it's impossible to maintain a comfortable life off of music, it's not sustainable. Add being a parent of 4, then 8 kids, into the mix, and it may as well just be disastrous, right?

"Darkness", "Evil", and Me
There's certain things that make up the early "stereotypical emo", that we've all probably heard. "Depressing" music that more often than not contains some unholy screaming in the mix, black eyeliner/lipstick, unnatural hair colors, Hot Topic clothes that may or may not consist of black band tees, skinny jeans that look like they went at it with a bear.
