T'was the night of All Hallows Eve,

and all through the moonlit streets,

ran witches and werewolves, ghosts and ghouls,

vampires searching for a treat!

When the 12th bell tolled, off ran the children,

locking their doors up tight.

For if you were out past the stroke of 12,

you would not survive the night.

Some called him a demon, others a nightmare,

but the stories still filled them with dread.

He comes for children in the dead of night,

a horseman with no head!

He rides a horse like shadows,

fierce as the raging storms.

His axe will slice your head clean off,

as the fogs begin to form.

They cover their heads with their pillows,

to block out the sounds of their cries.

Their neighbors and friends, brothers and sisters,

all slowly facing their demise.

The sounds of screams, the blood-stained streets

all haunting their sweet little dreams.

until the Horseman comes,

blinded by his blade's gleam.

He takes them down, one by one,

until he finds his head.

If you dare to face the world past 8,

prepare to face death instead.

For no one escapes the horseman,

he roams silent as the moon roams the sky.

If you hear the horseman approach...

...turn around and say goodbye.
