Well, If You Want My Opinion...
I met someone last year that described herself as 'the Oprah of her generation'. This evidenced a tremendous amount of confidence, especially as her message was still in progress and her generation was largely unaware that she existed. Still; I understand the urge to share your knowledge and experience with those around you.

Time To See and Be Seen
When my girls were school-age I was the mama-taxi. Long trips seemed to be my specialty. Not just because driving was novel to me (I learned when I was 30... long story), but because they needed to go to places that were some distance away and I was the only parent willing to do the trip (longer story).

The Vocal Sonnet Support Group
A recent Vocal writing Challenge called for a Shakespearean sonnet inspired by a summer memory. The Challenge included a helpful link to reference information that described the unique structure of all sonnets (yes- there is more than one type) and that of the Shakespearean sonnet in particular.

Customer Service in the Time of TikTok
Comedian Scott Seiss went viral in 2021 with his TikTok video of a harassed and bitter Ikea worker. Parodying the comments from imaginary customers Scott's character gives voice to the comments many retail employees only express in their inner monologue.
