Grant PattersonPublished 5 years ago in WanderThe Importance of Travel
Throughout my childhood, I dreamed of seeing the world. I never knew how much I was going to love it. For years, I begged and pleaded for my parents to take me on a trip out of the country, and in June 2017, I finally got to go to London. I was so excited to go on this trip with my school’s drama club. This trip started my love for traveling. I thought one of the best parts of the trip was actually traveling with a group of people who had the same interests as me and who I could bond with and learn from while abroad. It was such a unique experience.

Cara SieraPublished 5 years ago in WanderWhy You Should Take a Break to Travel
Life as we know it can be either exciting, stressful, depressing, or even just plain boring. Most of us have been taught at a very young age to work, work, and work as hard as we can to get what we want in life. Although this is somewhat true, sometimes people work too hard and then they exhaust themselves to the point where they hardly have any time to enjoy life. Many people also believe that they shouldn't spend money on pleasure and entertainment because that will eventually make them overspend or become lazy. All of these are false statements, and it is actually beneficial to enjoy your life and get away from stressful work. People suffering from high levels of stress are required by doctors and psychiatrists to take a break from work day and night in order to relieve anxiety. Here are ways to make life less stressful and benefit from a nice vacation:
Paris in Spring: 4 Things You Absolutely Should Do
This March I went to Paris with my boys. I am glad it was a family trip, you see, because romantic voyage to Paris with compulsory kissing at the top of the Tour Eiffel and eating les croissants is so much of a cliché that I wouldn’t even enjoy it. In the western pop culture, Paris is steeped in romance. However, if you exclude the romantic fluff from your agenda, you become able to see what the fuss is all about. Paris is an utterly amazing place—historically, culturally, aesthetically, and in any other way you can imagine. Even though we tried sticking to the beaten track and came to see all the popular tourist sights, our journey was full of discoveries.

It is rather interesting to realize that the one thing that tires us the most in our day to day routine life can be the one thing that brings about a tremendous adrenaline-filled time. All of us, at some point in our lives, have experienced the pains that come along with driving, being stuck in traffic, monotonous journeys and whatnot. But it is also not a hidden fact that road trips are one of the most fun ways to relieve yourself of this stress.

Fifteen years ago, before social media, I wandered into a small theater in Portland, OR, where they were showing a documentary called What the #$*! Do We (K)now!? It featured Dr. Amit Goswami, a quantum physicist professor from UCLA who had scientifically concluded that we are all connected. He states that if we could let go of our egos, quiet our minds, and open our hearts, then we would have heaven on earth. He concludes that we are all Gods, connected by a hive mind of consciousness, and along with the laws of quantum physics he determines that it is our collective consciousness that creates our reality.

Dennis McKonkiePublished 5 years ago in WanderThe Great Valley of Elah—The Region of the Battlefield!
I remember what I heard when I was a cute, little boy about the story of David and Goliath. I was so fascinated about the trend of the story, especially when little David overpowered the giant Goliath. The Valley of Elah is exactly where this 3,000 year old show took place. It is widely identified as the place of the battle between David and Goliath. So what is Elah? Elah means terebinth, a Mediterranean tree which is found in this area. Situated here is a small stream right in the center of the Valley.
