During Quarantine I was laid off, and didn’t know what to do, couldn’t see my family, who were miles away, and was too scared to do anything else, but go to my local corner store and Back. Load myself up with hand sanitizer. And pray. I’ve been a hair stylist for Ten years and my best friend has always been in the Photography business, but are main focus is performing together as female illusionists in Buffalo, NY. No matter what bar, or venue, we always wanted to be in the same show together, if we don’t perform together, we agree it’s just Boring!!!

You try your hardest and do everything you could but you still can not help but feel a sense of dread. They are amazing after all, and the time the two of you spent together was time gained instead of lost. At least, for you it was. It all seemed to come crashing down when you mistreated them. You didn't intentionally do it, in fact you thought they were all just small things. For example, you're terrible at texting. You just can't take conversations involving a QWERTY keyboard serious enough. They were neither engaging or fulfilling to you and as a result, you would always text back without substance or hours later. Most of the time your phone is on silent, or left in another room because you just didn't care all that much who called or texted you in the middle of the day. Not a lot of people do that anyways.

We often find exactly what we're looking for when we stop looking for it, or so the old adage goes. 2017. I found you among thousands of English learners in a language exchange app. Or, truly, you found me.

Kristopher Michael CafaldoPublished 4 years ago in HumansMR. NEW ORLEANS (part 1)
Ok SO... This story is called... MR. NEW ORLEANS I was in the process of divorcing my third husband, when I decided to try online dating. Dating locally had proven to be devastating due to me having several family members, by blood and marriage, or a family member or friend who had already hooked up with the men I was encountering. So venturing outside my home town/state seemed logical and safer. I decided to put a profile on one of the sites. At first, it was kind of exciting with all of the attention from these “incredibly handsome and very financially stable” men, but after a while it seemed rather pointless and many of these guys were shallow as hell, super control freaks, under cover women haters, Married, or just looking to waste time in between break ups with their on again off again girlfriend. Just when I was ready to delete my profile a message came through from a Godly beautiful specimen of a Man from New Orleans, that said “I really liked what I seen and read and I’d like to get to know you better”! Baaaaaby, this man looked so good I thought he was fake! And his approach wasn’t lame like most of the men who were trying to “get to know” me. I immediately responded and soon after we exchanged numbers. The first night I told him to call so I could hear his voice and when he did....that New Orleans accent (what I choose to call it) made me melt! I was in heaven!!! So we communicated for several days, that turned into weeks, then he finally asked to see me in person. I was so excited, but I’d never been to New Orleans. He told me he would come up to see me...for New Years! Well that was out of the question because I don’t bring strange men around my kids. He made it clear that we could meet somewhere else. Just so happened that Katt Williams and Mike Epps were going to be in St. Louis, so that’s where we met on December 31st, 2017! He flew in and we met at the Hyatt Regency where he had a Jr. Suite for us. We got freshened up and rode in his rented Dodge Challenger to the show. He apparently had family in St. Louis, who also had tickets because there were 3 dudes with Dodge Challengers following us into the paid parking lot. It made me a little nervous at first, but then they all spoke to him (his cousins) and me, then we all walked into the Center together and sat together as well. This man did some Planning You Hear Me!!! The show was absolutely Amazing!!! Afterwards, it was almost like a mini car show with these guys, we went to eat and then Me and Mr. New Orleans went back to the Hyatt Regency and did some Grown People things into the New Year 2018!!!
Angel F KeyPublished 4 years ago in HumansRemember When...
Remember when we first met? In high school; in the cafeteria. We were sophomores, but it was my first year at a new school--your school. I remember feeling so scared and anxious. It was already hard enough for me to make new friends. I never thought I'd meet someone who cares about me; someone who understands and listens to me; someone who fully accepts me for who I am. My best friend.

My best friend is not of this world. But he makes himself available to me at all times. He has heard all my stories, been with me through the good, bad, ugly, and has dried my tears. He has been my comfort when everyone else has left me.

Singster JonesPublished 4 years ago in HumansMarriage now and Marriage then…
The moment someone asked me who I would like to model my marriage after, I began to ask myself if I’m really ready for marriage. This made me consciously decide to go for counseling — something very unusual in this part of the world. From my parents to my siblings and even friends, there was no relationship or marriage worth emulating. Everyone had that “I am enduring” vibe.
Saidat IbrahimPublished 4 years ago in HumansWithout Love, Nothing Else Matters
Why is it that people act the way they do? Why do certain types of people hate or dislike others just because they are in a different class of society? Why do people judge you because of the mistakes you have made or the person you choose to love? These are just some of the questions you might ask yourself when dealing with other people, I know I have. It is important to remember that not all people are as nice and goodhearted as they may seem and that not everyone will treat you as an equal. People are going to judge you, look and even talk down on you and people will hate you just because of who you are or the things that you believe.
