Cheese Onion Rings

Cheese Onion Rings-

Onion rings, which will be filled with a lot of cheese, which will be crunchy and crispy from above and cheesy and soft from inside. Give onion pakoras an Italian twist and make these onion rings.

When I made this for the first time, I myself was surprised that onion pakoras can be made in this way too. Me and my family members find this very tasty, so I thought to share this recipe with you guys too.

When to serve - You can serve it as a starter, evening snack, birthday party, kitty party. Children like cheese very much, and they eat the dish in which they have cheese. So you can also give them in the tiffin box of children or whenever they want to feed something fun other than pizza, burger, then feed it. You can also serve it as a snack in front of the visiting guests.

How to serve - You can serve it with tomato sauce, green chutney or spicy mayo deep, along with hot tea or cold drink. Without spoiling the time, it is fun to serve it hot as soon as it comes out of the pan because it is most crispy at that time.

Preparation Time- 10-15 minutes Cooking Time- 15-20 minutes Total Time- 35 minutes For- 10-11 Rings

Ingredients-

  • 3 large sized onions
  • 6 cheese slices

To make a thick batter-

  • 1 cup maida
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp oregano seasoning
  • Water (to make a thick batter)

dry ingredients-

  • 1 cup maida
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup corn flakes (crushed)

How to make Onion Rings-

  • Put all the ingredients for making a thick batter in a big bowl and prepare a thick batter.
  • The batter should neither be too thin nor too thick, it should be slightly thicker than the batter of pakoras.
  • Now put dry flour in a separate plate and keep it.
  • And keep the bread crumbs and crushed corn flakes mixed in another plate.
  • With a sharp onion knife, cut into 1+1/2 inch thick circles.
  • Now separate one ring each from the pieces of chopped onion. (take care not to break the rings)
  • Remove the cheese from the fridge, cut it into thin slices and keep it aside.
  • Take a big ring of onion and put the sliced cheese strip in it in a circle.
  • Now put a small onion ring inside the big onion rings attached to this cheese band.
  • In this way, by filling cheese between 2 onion rings, prepare the remaining onion rings.
  • Wrap dry maida on the rings of cheese stuffed onions.
  • One by one by dipping the onion rings wrapped in the dry flour from both the sides in the previously prepared flour solution,
  • Then wrap in the mixture of bread crumbs and corn flakes.
  • Repeat this process one more time.
  • Similarly prepare all the rings and keep them in a plate and leave them in deep freeze for 30 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame and put the frozen onion rings in the oil.
  • Fry the onion rings on medium flame till they become golden and crispy from both the sides.
  • Remove the prepared onion rings on a tissue paper and serve immediately with green chutney/tomato sauce.

Suggestion-

  • To make this recipe, use only large onion rings, smaller rings will have trouble filling the cheese.
  • Do not fry the onion rings for a long time or on low flame, because after a while the cheese inside will start coming out.
  • You can also make these onion rings without stuffing them with cheese, by following the rest of the steps mentioned.
  • Make a little more bread crumbs than the specified quantity, sometimes more bread crumbs are also needed.
  • Oil should not be lukewarm while frying, oil should be medium hot.
  • You can also stuff potato stuffing with cheese.
  • Do not fill too much cheese or else it may come out while frying.
  • Coat the onion rings in a thick batter of flour and a mixture of bread crumbs-corn flakes.
