Espresso coffee beans are roasted much darker than the usual coffee beans. It's best for most coffee blends, such as your favorite latte or cappuccino. Since espresso shot is added to these coffee blends, the strong flavor of coffee is not gone from mixing it with milk compared to the regular coffee beans.

There are days when I crave more baked goods than others, but I want to continue losing weight and looking after my wellbeing. I have finally found a solution to reduce my urges to go for that doughnut or cheesecake brownie at the local bakery!
Talia DevoraPublished 4 years ago in FeastI Tried HelloFresh for the First Time
This year, I have cooked more than I have in my whole 24 years of life. While trying to stay safe indoors and not eat out as much, I realized that I'm kind of getting tired of my usual bi-weekly meals. Not wanting to cook all the time and lacking cuisine creativity to come up with new meals, I resorted to ordering takeout.

So, continuing with our previous article, here we have another amazing recipe from Meta Givens from the 40’s. I thought Bacon Muffins just sound like an amazing idea. About a year and some change ago I started getting serious about my weight. I wasn't in my 20s anymore, and I had to acknowledge that I couldn't just spend more time at the gym if I really wanted to slim down and lose my burgeoning stomach. While I managed to get my meals figured out using portion control (more on that struggle in How I Lost 40 Pounds by Eating More Taco Bell), one area that always dogged me was dessert. I have a large sweet tooth, and I am one of those people who firmly believes a serving size of ice cream is whenever you hear your spoon hitting the bottom of the carton.

Gilles BerdugoPublished 4 years ago in FeastSecond Macaron Encounter
Macarons. French or Italians? I'm not sure because it wasn't stated on the recipes that I used but I think they were French because the ratio of sugar was lower than the almonds. Macarons are usually baked goods that I much avoided because my partially frugal self that didn't want to pay the price for ground almonds. It's a dessert. Something that I deemed I can live without? Every time I walk down the confectionery aisle and see that packet of ground almonds, I'll just end up telling myself that it's not necessary and walk away. I have a vague memory of how my first try at macarons was but I think they were pretty pink successful macaron shells. I didn't manage to reach the part of making the filling because I didn't know or understand the admiration that people have for its beauty yet. At that time which was probably five years ago, I think I was just looking for something that I can bake with the least amount of ingredients and macarons popped out as the first few options from Google search.
BOOK REVIEW: THE BIG FAT SURPRISE, WHY BUTTER MEAT AND CHEESE BELONG IN A HEALTHY DIET BY NINA TEICHOLZ
This is a remarkably well-researched story of how America learned to fear saturated fat and why that may have been the most tragic mistake our medical profession ever made. Teicholz spent 9 years going back and doing fresh analysis on the studies that were used to justify the Diet Heart hypothesis that started with researcher Ancel Keys and an elite group of doctors and researchers who still control the government agencies that set dietary policy used in all of our institutions – homes for the elderly, assisted living facilities, prisons, hospitals, school lunch programs and more. The problem is that the actual data never supported the concept of a low fat diet, and the data they did have was based largely on studies of middle aged men at risk for heart disease. Wanting to extend the benefits to the rest of the population, they included women and children in those recommendations. Unfortunately, what the data actually shows is that the low fat diet is harmful to children, causing stunted growth and failure to thrive, and it is also unhealthy for women, who need dietary fat for many reasons including reproduction.
