Pride and Prejudice: 1995 vs 2005
If there's a hot-button topic among Austen Fans, it's usually over Adaptations of the author's timeless works, and nowhere is that more obvious than the fierce debate over which is the superior adaptation: the 1995 BBC Miniseries starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, or the 2005 movie starring Matthew MacFayden and Kiera Knightley.

"You have got to stop losing letters like this." The ability to shapeshift into a bat was useful when it came to museum heists. Security might wonder how a bat even got into the building, but they'd call Animal Control instead of rushing down themselves. Demetri, of course, pointedly ignored Stefan's commentary.

A Magical Journey: Beats
The first hint that something was very, very wrong was the sky, shimmering purple and green. The second hint was the ethereal music coming from no discernable source, with a rhythm just out of sync enough that one could never quite determine the beat.

Testing the Limits
Everyone knew the stories about the Lake of the Drowned. Travellers stopping to refresh themselves with a picturesque view, then vanishing to never be seen again. Strong swimmers, young... natural causes were getting harder to use as an explanation.
