The Dark Side
It seems as though leaders of governments continue to stumble around with their heads in the sand diverting any chance of bringing peace, harmony and co-existence to the citizens of the world. They have become oblivious to what mankind is actually going through in their daily struggles to ease the burdens imposed upon them by their very own government. Today humanity is on the very edge of no more tomorrows.
The Edge of Darkness
With the world facing so many insecurities, where populations continue to suffer needlessly by the hands of governments, we have come to a juncture in history to which we may never recover from. The internal crisis facing within the United States seem almost insurmountable. The lack of moral fortitude to unite behind a definitive plan of direction that would bind this nation together continues. Instead within the halls of D.C. there remains a divisiveness that blinds too many in government to actually see the evolution of the US into a third world nation.
In all of the history has no other athlete come even close in amassing the colossal fortune that was earned by one Ancient Roman, Gaius Appuleius Diocles. The Charioteer, par exultance won about 1,460 times of the over 4,500 races he completed spanning 24 years. What makes this feat so remarkable considering the violence, the mayhem, and the savagery of the times in Ancient Rome is the fact that he had to endure racing at least 4 times a week for those 24 years.
On The Eve of Destruction
The power of great wealth can be either used for the betterment of humanity or for the demise of civility. Today the world is emersed in a quandary of dire circumstances many of which if left to the existing powers that be will in fact unleash an inferno the likes of which we have not seen since World War II. The outright condemnation of moral fortitude to provide the means necessary for peaceful co-existence has been buried by the falsehoods of diplomatic postering. The financial gain of those who have orchestrated the current global tempests that continue to plague all of mankind have continued for far too long.
An American Icon
At the beginning of the 17th century the birth of one man became the most influential person in the founding of a nation. His influence, his writings, and his inventions all altered and changed the course of history. Of all the founding fathers it has always been Benjamin Franklin that literary wrote the book for a new nation. He has been called an American original, the first American and a true Renaissance man. In every nations rise through-out history there have been certain individuals that catapulted not only themselves but their nation on to the world's stage. Benjamin Franklin was such a man.
The Renters Nightmare
The world revolves around the greed and unforgiving nature of a corrupt corporate world. It is no truer than what the real estate conglomerates have done by monopolizing so many apartment complexes all across the country. The tale of misery and woe abound and ever since the Covid-19 protections expired the influx of evictions as well as rising rents have cumulated in a major national crisis that seems to be ignored by every state house around the country.
High Level Corruption
Is the Biden Administration as well as members of Congress that naive to think that by fueling the flams of armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia will bring about an end to the crisis between Russia and Ukraine? All this Administration with Congress's approval by supplying billions of taxpayer dollars since the conflict began is aid and abating what has to be criminal actions by Ukraine. This when it was known that Ukraine provoked Russia into armed conflict to stop Ukraine from acting with intentions that are known to have dangerous consequences for both Ukraine, the rest of Europe and Russia itself.
Fiscal Responsibility of Government
In this troubled world we sometimes loose our way. So true for many of us. For some time, our heads of state really have lost their way in regard to ensure a more perfect union. It is a sad commentary when so many of our entrusted leaders of government remain oblivious to the actual reasons why our national debt threatens the very future of our nation, and the many other reasons why our society faces a bleak economic forecast in the months and years ahead.
At a time when Florida's Governor decides to take on Trump and the Republican party's choice for President, we should remember what Charlie Christ said during the only debate in Florida's governor's race last year. True to form Christ was right all along. And when the NAACP announces that African American's are openly discriminated against here in Florida just adds salt to the already wounded social ills that are imbedded in the Republican mindset of so many not only in Florida but around the country.
The Paradox That Is America
America. what does this nation stand for? Too many of us are being led to believe that the United States is the greatest country in the world. Well, we used to be. Some time ago we gave it up for corporate greed and political power for a few elites. When we look at the political landscape of today there relay isn't that much difference between our two-party system. And when it takes millions of dollars to get elected for a job that only pays so little by today's standards spell corruption in every level of government.
A Turning Point For America
There has been a lot of controversy concerning the validity of implementing rent controls especially in light of the continuing rate increases in housing and a housing crisis in general. When the Fed continues to rase interest rates it does nothing to ease the affordability of home ownership and for that matter inflation. The argument stems from the fact that there is a housing shortage. That is true in some parts. But the housing market has always been driven by what is called supply and demand. When the supply of housing is not sufficient to handle a population the price of housing has always driven up the cost of either renting or owning.
Only A State Of Mind
In a world marked by confusion, discord, ignorance, hate and greed too many are caught in a tailspin where there is no black or white only the gray area in-between. The sociological impact of all this has transformed our society. A society today made up where many individuals phycological makeup goes against the laws of nature. And at the same time our society seems to be completely incapable of preventing the willful carnage that keeps happening in and around our nation. The connectivity is quite apparent considering the recent atrocity in Nashville.
