Death By Taxes
In a world that is constantly changing there still remains like Ben Franklin once said Death and Taxes. When our Congress is on the verge of passing with this latest Inflation reduction and climate change bill is without a doubt an exercise in shortsightedness in terms of having anything to do with reducing inflation that our own congress and present Administration have caused in the first place.

To Heal A Nation
After a weekend undisputed violence that rocked this nation there are concerning questions that need direct answers with solutions that will restore and heal the gaping holes in our society and our economy. It is in education that holds many of the answers. When we look back in the history of the United States, we find the roots of racial prejudice stemming from the way our politicians ransacked the reconstruction process following the Civil War.

The Housing Crisis Today
When the Fed raised interest rates, they apparently forgot that every time they have done so in the past inflation only increased. So, this time they really added salt to our already critically wounded economy. The dire conditions millions face remain unabated whenever the Fed acts. We have to remember that the Great Depression made millionaires in a time of the greatest financial and economic calamity of the 20th century. Today, the justification for interest rate hikes is basically the same. The profiteering of many individuals and corporations have unleashed a cataclysm of financial hardships that has expanded to almost 4/5 of the US population. Essentially what is happening is nothing more than price gouging. Yet state and federal governments have proved ineffective to address what is already becoming one of the worst housing crises since the Great Depression.

Failure Of Leadership
For far too long Presidential leadership has been stoking the flames of armed aggression. The economies of the industrial nations have long since been solely dependent on the fossil fuel conglomerates. Since the beginning of the 21st century humanity has developed the technologies that would transform our energy needs away from oil and the other fossil fuels. It is these fossil fuels that continue to cause irreversible damage to our environment and pitted nations against each other. The failure of leadership from the global community has now pushed Russia to use armed aggression to keep their energy lifelines well intact.

The Consequences of Governmental Inaction
What we have seen from the past year and a half during this Pandemic is a deterioration of governmental responses to felicitate the general public's ability to survive the onslaught of reoccurring financial and medical losses. It was in May of 2020 that many in congress were in accord to implement financial aid to millions of Americans on a monthly basis for the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, after almost two years the Biden Administration and congress have done a complete turnaround leaving millions of Americans struggling not only with the resurgence of Covid-19 infections but the inflationary trend on every consumable. The result is putting the economy in grave jeopardy.

The year was 1885 when Carl Faberge` was commissioned by the Czar of Russia to commemorate Easter with a gift to his wife. In true Faberge` fashion the first of 57 Faberge` Eggs as they were called was made. From 1885 until 1915 each year the Czar was given one of these most precious of gifts. The mysterious disappearance of 8 of these exquisite works of art remains a mystery even today. Each egg was so magnificently crafted with pure gold and the most precious of all the fine cut stones from diamonds, rubies, and emeralds all inlaid within made every Faberge` egg the most valuable piece of art that even today are valued at well over 100 million dollars each. Just think of what the combined value of those missing 8 Faberge` Eggs are worth today.
