False Memories
Eye Witness Testimony and False Memories By encoding information through sensory input, memories are then created. The information that has been encoded are then stored. People use retrieval to get the memory back (this would be the general memory process theory), but sometimes there can be problems such as false memories (Grison, S., Heatherton, T., & Gazzaniga, M. 2016). The Genius of Philosophy
Socrates and The Unexamined Life When Socrates stated, “The unexamined life is not worth living” he believed that those who didn’t question their purpose of this human experience have yielded their direction in life to chance and given their power away to others. In the “Apology”, Plato wrote about the trial of Socrates defending his philosophical thinking. Socrates was accused of corrupting the youth and received much persecution for his teachings. Socrates was a deep thinker, questioner and therefore an examiner of what he felt was the most important of values and morals. He also felt that there should be a logical explanation to his inquiries of seeking the truth.

Epilepsy Didn't Stop Me
I was diagnosed with Epilepsy when I was 17 years old and I understand what it is like to be put in a scary situation at a young age because of your health. It has been my aspiration to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist, but also a nurse practitioner for kids/adolescents. There are kids with big dreams, and they are still in the process of finding their purpose in life. I feel like it is my purpose to provide a course of action for these kids when they are put in a vulnerable situation and an emotional rollercoaster because of their health.
