Trump Derangement Syndrome
I want to preface this rather loaded article by saying that I am a Canadian citizen and thus had no "skin in the game" in the 2016 presidential election. However, I feel the pain of friends in the US and want to offer some observations and ways to bridge the chasm that has been created.

When Donald Trump announced his candidacy for President in June 2015, the media and viewers alike brushed it off, simply believing that the self-made business tycoon did not have the experience or temperament to hold such a high office. Now, almost three years since the day he first announced his candidacy and 16 months into his Presidency, questions are still asked as to how voters made Donald Trump the President of the United States.

Ever since he announced his run for president, Donald Trump has been surrounded by controversy and the media. It seems that every time he says or does anything, it's all that's talked about until he decides to do it again, and then the cycle repeats. His antics have generated intense loyalty from some, while he's become so outlandish to others that some citizens have theorized that Trump may be Donald Duck. Jesse KinneyPublished 6 years ago in The Swamp Best Political Gifts For People Who Hate Trump
The perfect gift for the anti-Trump person in your life is going to help send a message to the dumpster fire in the White House. It's not going to be some wacky shirt or a Donald Trump blow up doll that you can wack over and over again. The best way to wack Trump is to practice self-care, amplify the voices of the disenfranchised, and take it to the streets to flex our collective might. The must-have political gifts for people who hate Trump aren't tchotchkes; they're practical tools of fighting against an oppressive and repressive regime.
Ben KharakhPublished 6 years ago in The SwampTrump's Sexism and Misogyny
Donald Trump's sexism and misogyny is well documented. His attitude toward women is that they are less than him. He believes he's entitled to use women, comment on women's bodies, demean women from his platform as President of the United States, and abuse women using the legal system or his own physical strength.

Donald Trump is a brutal reminder of just how much ugliness exists beneath America’s shiny veneer. Behind all the culture, technology, and inspirational tales that the US exports to the rest of the world is a spring of misogyny and White resentment that allowed the least qualified presidential candidate in American history to become the most powerful man in the world. The things Trump has undone will echo in eternity as a testament to humanity's ignorant viciousness toward itself.
Ben KharakhPublished 6 years ago in The SwampWays Donald Trump Is Making Himself Richer as the President
Donald Trump is a bigot who's been accused of sexual misconduct by 19 women. It's important to keep that information in the public's consciousness to balance out all the privilege afforded to him by America's classist, racist, sexist society. How much privilege? Enough that there are many ways Donald Trump is making himself richer in the White House through a mix of conflicts of interest and nepotism with seemingly no oversight to stop him. He might as well be printing money in the treasury and putting it straight into his pockets, right where he keeps his Big Macs and his tattered copy of The Turner Diaries. JK. Trump doesn't read anything that isn't full of his own name. So maybe he's reading this list of some of the ways he's getting richer in DC!

As always, the cover up is worse than the crime. And when it comes to Donald Trump, the cover up is always bad. One would think that decades of having to cover his tracks would make Trump a master of deceit, but really he's been coasting on wealth and white male privilege.

This country has always been known for its governmental particularity; a democratic nation which allows for the people to have a say on all things politics. Although it may not be exactly a direct democracy, individuals have a strong say on what the government functions are. The youth has constantly failed to participate in government...until Donny stepped in.
Are We Living in a Disappearing Government?
We are living in a disappearing government and fading reality. Every day, the media tells people something that is not true. As a strong Democrat and conservative, making sense of that concept is extremely delicate and sometimes hard and difficult to discuss. Government leading to society does not have to be like this. Thousands and possibly millions of opinions outsource, relinquish, and dominate others from the level of intelligence, self-esteem, and sense of wisdom.

Just two months ago there was a Beltway rumor that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was about to quit or be fired. The White House denied it. Tillerson denied it. The State Department feigned ignorance on the issue. Still, most people believed that the former Exxon Mobil CEO's days were numbered at Foggy Bottom.
