Facts Matter
Facts really do matter. Social media makes it easy to create content on any subject matter. Sharing an opinion is the right of any creator and should not be censored. Masquerading content as news, however, carries a greater opportunity to spread misinformation faster than any time in history. Some content is deliberately created so sow discontent or mistrust or to promote a political agenda. Other content is produced by individuals who genuinely believe that what they are sharing is true, but they failed to do enough research.

USS Indianapolis Heroes
I've always had a fascination about the saga of the USS Indianapolis, an American heavy cruiser that was torpedoed in the waning days of WWII. Experience the Exodus REAL Team
The silence was deafening. Over one hundred men, and a dozen staff members, yielded their complete attention to a single speaker. No yawning. No outbursts. No disrespect at all. The powerful message rested not so much in the individual stories they shared, but rather in the emotional attachment they projected in an effort to etch the experience on to the hearts and minds of these men.

Remembering Merritt Butrick
One of Hollywood’s brightest stars was snatched away from us 32 years ago. Merritt Butrick was my friend. He was genuinely hilarious, quite possibly the funniest human being I have ever met. He was so care-free that it was hard to imagine any of life’s troubles ever bothered him. Merritt loved life and was determined to experience it to the fullest.

Sorry Reagan, I Gotta Vote Democrat
Since before I was old enough to vote, I have been a conservative Republican. I worked Ronald Reagan's presidential campaign while still in high school doing everything from knocking on doors, working the phone bank, and compiling voter data. It was incredible. Equally important, it was a victory!

Out with the Old...in with the New
Just two months ago there was a Beltway rumor that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was about to quit or be fired. The White House denied it. Tillerson denied it. The State Department feigned ignorance on the issue. Still, most people believed that the former Exxon Mobil CEO's days were numbered at Foggy Bottom.
