Irish Pubs
Whether you’re in the heart of Dublin or the beautiful village of Kilsheelan, the pub is the center of life in Ireland. Not just for the Guinness or Jameson, or (the author’s personal favorite) Magners—you go for the stories, the laughs, the football or hurling game, or simply the beautiful Irish smiles.

Hi, my name is Jerrica and I hate beer. Ha. I drink it every now and then because I’m cheap and beer is usually cheaper when you go out. What’s better than a $2 PBR? Well honestly, lots of things are. But my bank account and my frugal ways surpass whatever my taste buds have to say. Well, not always, but definitely if I find myself going to the bar more than twice a week. And as long as it contains alcohol, it shouldn’t matter right? That sounds absolutely ridiculous but hey, a broke chick has got to do what she’s got to do to get a buzz going on a budget. Plus, if you get a beer at the bar, it’s probably better to sit on that one drink than to down eight margaritas in two hours, which... ya know... guilty. 😳
Best Drinking Quotes of All Time
God bless drinking. It makes life so much more enjoyable and bearable! What doesn't make life enjoyable is THIS GODDAMN WHITE SUPREMACIST PATRIARCHY THAT MADE IT SO HARD TO FIND QUOTES FROM WOMEN ABOUT DRINKING! It was like browsing the Western literary canon: all dead white men.

I like to go to Trader Joe's, buy some two buck chuck, and just invite a bunch of people over. I can do that now that I have my own place! And if I'm going to have a bunch of people over drinking from the same type of glasses, I need to have some attachable wine glass charms so people can keep track of what drink belongs to what person. They're truly among the must have items for every wine lover. These attachable wine glass charms add some much-appreciated quirkiness to any get-together.
Salvatore FratelliPublished 6 years ago in ProofThings You Didn't Know About Beer... Probably
Were it not for beer, it'd be a lot harder to relax after a long day of dealing with things women are expected to do at work but shouldn't. Sure, I've got the best motivational soccer quotes to remember before a game to energize me on and off the field, but sometimes motivational soccer quotes just aren't enough and it takes a drink for me to howl at the moon like the women who run with the wolves.

I let my son Jarret have alcohol if he's supervised by me. I figure if he's already drinking, then he might as well do so in a safe space. And he may very well be drinking given that he's in the 9th grade and very secretive about his life. He's usually pretty tight-lipped even if he's had the one drink I allow him to have, whereas I gab about my love life and the classes I've been taking at the local community college. Maybe, though, if I throw some fun into the mix he'll open up more, which is why I'm turning to the best drinking games for two people.

I'm always getting breakouts. And what's worse is that I just learned that some drinks are terrible for your epidermis. Good thing I have cardio, and good thing I know the best and worst alcoholic drinks for your skin. I know what drinks to avoid!
Chica ReyassPublished 6 years ago in ProofDrinking and Driving: Stricter Laws Needed to Prevent Drunk Driving
According to CDC.gov, “Every day, 28 people in the United States die in motor vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol-impaired driver.” With this resulting in a death every fifty-one minutes, driving under the influence is harming more people than we know. Because drinking and driving is becoming a national epidemic that is affecting the lives of people who don’t or can’t drive, stricter laws must be passed to prevent it.

Best Drinking Games You Can Play Without a Deck of Cards
I love playing these games with my rec soccer team, which is made up of the most badass, fiercest women I know. Self-care is important; it belongs in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. And this is some of the most fun self-care I get!
Chica ReyassPublished 6 years ago in Proof 11 Tips for Getting a Drink in a Crowded Bar
If there's one thing I've learned from being a raver, it's that getting a drink in a crowded bar is absolutely brutal. There are millions of people, all clamoring for the bartender's attention, and you are just one in a bunch of them.
Ossiana TepfenhartPublished 6 years ago in ProofBest Rated Hard Seltzer Brands
Hard seltzer is the newest, trendiest thing on the market. Its popularity comes from the fact that it's an alcoholic beverage that gets you buzzed, has low carb counts, and still manages to taste crisp and refreshing. (Basically, it's a lot like LaCroix in that sense.)
Skunk UzekiPublished 6 years ago in ProofBest Yeast Free Alcohol to Bring to Your Next Party
Many of the most popular alcoholic beverages unfortunately include yeast. And for someone who is trying to transition their diet into a yeast-free or gluten-free one, this can come as a disappointment.
