Hard People Do Hard Stuff
This title is the more P.C. version of what my friend Brian Chontosh said, "Hard men do hard shit." Do you think you've ever really actually gone to failure? If we're being honest with ourselves most of us have not. Sure, we've all pushed hard on a workout and failed reps or ended up on the floor afterwards but most of us have not ever actually gone to the point of absolute failure. To the point of 100%, I could not do any more. Which leads us all to the question, "Where is my actual breaking point?" Most people go their entire lives without ever actually finding out where their breaking point is. That's crazy to me. In my 23 years on this Earth, I don't believe I've ever even come close to finding this point. Sure, I've done some hard stuff but nothing that ever got me close to my breaking point. It's something I'm searching for and something I'm probably going to spend the rest of my life searching for.

The Sins of Money
Money can do a lot of good but it is the evil done with the money that causes the most troubled. Money is a concept and it goes beyond race, class, age, and gender. Oppression is a common tool of money. Some people with money believed that they can walk on whoever they please because they have not found anything equal to the weight of money. This is why we had so many rebellions against the law and order. The law covers an offense for the price of money. Money has no limit because our society empowers money as an influence. If you can influence the right people then you can win any case. We have equated money to above the law. We must move steps toward controlling the influence of money in politics and society as a whole. Money degrades race, class, age, and gender even though it can avail it. It sets a standard and takes away all humanity making everything able to buy at a price even life. When one life is above the other life because of money in the eyes of the law, then justice is detoured.

The Purpose
So many times I have written my thoughts down, wrote a song, wrote a poem or just sat in silence. Today I feel like mentally I have taken many steps back. How did this happen? why did this happen? If I told you that this year has actually been my favorite year so far. You know I've never felt like I really fit in this world because, of how kind my heart is and the way I see people is different to the way a person may see me. Love is something we all yearn for really in the end. Do you love yourself? and if not why. Does it matter how much love we receive even if its 5%. Do you love yourself?

Changing a Life-Threatening Experience Into Something Positive
Cancer sucks. In fact, it both sucks and blows. Hearing the words ‘you have cancer’ was the worst moment in my life and felt like a death sentence. Especially when my oncologist told me that I needed chemo- and radiotherapy following a radical hysterectomy. Or when he said that he could not predict if I would be in the one in a ten group of survivors. He is an amazing surgeon and oncologist, but severely lacks a compassionate bedside manner.

the conclusion
let's put a scenario in your head: you are to die today. you spend as much time as you possibly can with your loved ones, friends, etc. then you ask for some time to yourself to marinate on the thoughts on your life as a whole. you create a sort of testament for which the points that follow could serve as chapters of your life:

Calm before the storm
Each day I realize more about the changes happening to me. The way I don't get all jittery all the time. I don't have road rage, I sleep pretty good most nights and haven't been sick nearly as much as I used to, despite we are in the middle of a supposed pandemic.

Time For Discipline.
2 years ago today, I received a message from a relative I would have never thought of getting for at least another 20 years. I'm not going into detail, but plenty of people have been through the same thing or similar, loss of family. It's not special nor uncommon. The one thing that is uncommon about the situation is that I chose to respond differently. Many people, and with every right to do so, grieve and go into a depressive state of mourning for days.. months.. even years after. Some people never recover or cope with the feeling or realization that they're gone for good. That's just unfortunately how life goes sometimes.
