Fail...The Whole World is Watching
Michael Jordan is famous for saying, "I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

Be Kind To Your Thoughts.
Who Am I. I Am. Guidance to Alignment I knew nothing of life experiences as I was going through life experiences. The traumas of my past are no longer my longtime friend of pain. It was a comfort. It was all I knew. everything felt like a struggle. a sense of loss. A deep loss. The hole you have feels deeper than ever before when you become the realizer of your demise. An awareness, a moment of clarity. That second when you just know. It is time to let go of the grip a little from holding on to this feeling of dis-ease for so long. There’s a glimpse into the hole you’ve dug for yourself. Yes, you did this. The one that you feel somewhat safe with. The hole began long ago. Most of it started as a child. What has taken the power of your happiness? How did you lose your happiness? Or maybe you believe you never felt true happiness. Have you ever felt that feeling when you are teary eyed, smiling from ear to ear and simply grateful for what you are seeing?

"Looking good" shouldn't always be rooted in conforming to beauty standards
Plenty of our social media platforms today have granted us easier accessibility to seek out what other people everywhere are doing and how they personally broadcast themselves to the rest of the world. Sometimes, however, it’s understandably exhausting scrolling through everyone’s Instagram or Facebook profiles and seeing how they appear to be both overwhelmingly physically attractive and financially well-off. It can leave us thinking, “Well gee! What am I not doing to get to that level in life? Why don’t I look like that? What ab exercises do they do so I can get mine to look like theirs?”. Thoughts like these are often rooted in some people not feeling good enough, thus feeling pressure to change their appearance in hopes to conform to expectations under the guise of ‘looking good’. But what exactly is ‘looking good’ anyway? That question may not seem tricky at all until we remember that the idea of looking good alone has many different definitions for everyone. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t universal standards set in place with historical context.

Don’t get comfortable, nothing is going to stay the same....
It’s very strange to to experience, almost in tandem... the evaporation of, well I was going to say two things I love at the same time. However I realise that in one case I am long overdue an overhaul and if I’m really honest … I’m not sure I loved it any more.

How to Have an IDGAF Attitude
Growing up, all throughout middle school and high school, I had terrible self-esteem. Other people's opinions meant everything to me and I would always take them personally. I was extremely insecure in every aspect of my life, the way I looked, talked, acted, etc. and this made my teenage years really difficult.

When You Need a Shoulder
I never thought I would live through a pandemic. I studied things like the Black Plague in history class, I've read numerous stories about life after an apocalyptic plague, my husband and I used to play the board game Pandemic any time family came to visit...but I never considered it would be something that would affect me personally. Then it happened, and it's affect on me is not what I would have guessed once I accepted it,

unpopular opinion: this pandemic has actually been good to me.
If you’re like me, quarantine started as not at all good for my mind, nor has it been kind to my mental health. My mind is always going one mile a minute. While I’ve always been an introvert and have enjoyed my space & solitude, the outside world contained many outlets for me that were merely distractions. When I couldn’t stop thinking, or turn off the thoughts in my head gnawing at my anxiety and peace, I would get out of the house and head to my favorite store, or I’d find myself looking for something, anything to do. When the world shut down, so did my scapegoats. I was forced to battle my demons… but I didn’t do it alone, and more importantly… I didn’t lose.

Is There Such a Thing as The Creative Curse?
You’ve most likely heard the fable of the two wolves inside everyone. If not — let me summarize it for you. According to the “legend,” an old Cherokee grandfather is chatting with his grandson about life. He goes on to say he is fighting a battle within himself. He tells the boy, there are two wolves living inside of him. One wolf is evil, full of hatred, anger, greed, regret, pain, rage, and more. The other wolf is good, full of love, kindness, happiness, compassion, generosity — the list goes on and on.
