let's put a scenario in your head: you are to die today. you spend as much time as you possibly can with your loved ones, friends, etc. then you ask for some time to yourself to marinate on the thoughts on your life as a whole. you create a sort of testament for which the points that follow could serve as chapters of your life:

the things you have loved in your life: your family. your irreplaceable friends. your pets. maybe a significant other you have or have had in your life. a city. a memory. each one rushing into your mind so fast, you hardly get the chance to really cherish it, but then again you're thankful for having so many great memories with so many outstanding people.

the things you have tasted: your absolute favorite food, sweet candies, tangy fruits, someone else's lips, a really nasty food that you will never forget the taste of because it almost made you hurl.

the things you saw: bright lights, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, many wonderful movies, your friends fall in love, your siblings smile, how times have changed and how you have grown.

the experiences you cherished: when you first fell in love, an amazing trip you went on, laughing endlessly with your closest friends, all the painful lessons that you thankfully only had to learn once.

the things or occurrences that brought you liberation: when you learned to love yourself and not care about what anyone else had to say about you. when you finally realized who you were and that you didn't have to pretend to be something that you're not.

the beliefs you have outgrown: how everyone you meet is putting on a front about being your friend, how you feel like nobody cares about you or what you have to say. all of those thoughts are false and you can look back and genuinely get to say that you outgrew those negative thoughts and know that everyone in your life loves you and who you are. no more feeling like you're not good enough when you are more than enough.

then there are the things you regret in your life: maybe some huge mistakes that you should have never even put yourself in the position to make them, or maybe you hurt someone and couldn't find the right words to say to them at the right time, so you just went without that closure. or maybe you weren't as close to God as you would have liked to have been.

there are your life achievements, life lessons learned, sufferings that have seasoned you into who you are now, risks you took, dangers you encountered, influences that shaped you, rather it be a person or just a book or quote, the people that are enshrined within your heart, and lastly there are your unfulfilled dreams and desires and only now are gone, and well, unfulfilled.

now picture where you are at this second. who you have in your life, the unsettled matters in your life, the inspiration you want to chase after. do you just sit around and wait until something bad creeps up on your horizon or do you make sure every single second of every day is filled with nothing but love, kindness, forgiveness, joy, laughter, and apologies that are needed to be made. life is a one chance thing. you kinda gotta just take it and run with it. do the best you can in everything you do. try not to complain a whole lot. help a person in need. be nice to your parents, visit your grandparents, do what your heart and your mind desires. be filled with never-ending love and happiness.

with all the love,
