"5...4...3...2...1...Happy New Year!" We've all been there. Fireworks ensure that the New Year enters our lives with a bang, music sparks joviality, and spirits rise as the promise for a "New Year, New You" starts. "Auld Lang Syne" sounds, and strangers dressed in glittering clothes weave their hands together and dance, laughing loudly. Holly BushnellPublished 6 years ago in MotivationMandatory To Do List for 2018
1) Love Yourself 2018 is YOUR year. Stop comparing yourself to those Instagram models and celebrities. Be happy with what you have, what you look like and the life you live. Life is way too short to be worried about things that do not matter. If you spend too much time on other people, make time for yourself. Do what you have to do to help yourself grow. You are YOU and that is enough. Self love all 2018.
Sophia MayfieldPublished 6 years ago in MotivationOpening My Eyes
I feel like after seeing what has been happening all around me, I grew up a little. From being a little girl taking care of my younger brothers and not discovering who really am, to making it to this year of 2018. I can understand why I am here and experiencing all these events. I used to think to myself all the time since I gave birth to my little girl, how am I, as an 18-year-old mother going to get through the struggles? I faced a lot of disappointments and resentment, but grew out of the negativity and saw there is a way to get what I want for my future and my daughter's. I couldn't face why the father of my child could not grow up and just be an adult until I faced the fact I can have fun in life without being judgmental and harsh of the choices he makes. As teachers and friends always told me: we are only humans; we all make mistakes.
Putting It Out TherePublished 6 years ago in MotivationHow to Motivate Yourself to Clean Your Apartment
For some people, cleaning is actually a great stress reducer. The act of keeping your hands busy and your mind focused on one task can be therapeutic. For others, however, finding the motivation to clean can be like trying to move a boulder.

Rachel BlanchardPublished 6 years ago in MotivationBest Self Help Books for Women to Read
Self help is one of the very few book genres that tends to be stigmatized or even disregarded, despite it being an overall positive topic. The truth is that much of the disdain self help books get as a genre is due to the sheer number of books that sound helpful and uplifting, but only really deliver a light "feel good" rush that doesn't really help you do much of anything concrete.
Ossiana TepfenhartPublished 6 years ago in MotivationNew Year, New You
Everyone is currently engulfed in the warm glow of hope brought about by their New Year's resolutions, the dreams everyone has for the success and achievements 2018 will bring, the better, more accomplished, happier you that will inevitably emerge. I am thoroughly in support of setting goals and establishing a path to reach them, but not of these fleeting resolutions.
Treble RanchPublished 6 years ago in MotivationMy Greatest Fear
Death is not my greatest fear, but it has consumed my thoughts for as long as I can remember. I have no real reason to think about it to such an extent; none of my immediate family has passed away (only extended) and I am only eighteen years old. Maybe I watch too many gory movies and television shows... Maybe I'm paranoid on top of it, which does make sense—I'm quick to jump to conclusions about my health whenever something hurts or I learn of a new disease.

Emily DraperPublished 6 years ago in MotivationOf Joys, and Pains, and Blessings
I don't even know where to start counting my blessings for 2017. Although I haven't had much of material things to boast, graces and blessings abound in terms of family, love, friends, and personal and emotional growth. This year gave me a number of reasons to say that life is indeed beautiful despite all its imperfections.
C.J.ErolanPublished 6 years ago in MotivationDay 1 - Finding Your Life Purpose
“Today is the first day of rest of your life” Charles Dederich. We start day 1 with Mr. Dederich’s quote purely because I do believe this is the first day of your real and designed life. And no – you don’t need to believe in a God, the Universe or fairies to read or participate in this course. Your beliefs are your own, and you can use them to help you on your exploration of self-discovery anyway you want.
